Happy Sunday!  Quick hello..planning to go to Church at the Church today!  Need to get breakfast first.

We had a nice time last night....cute gal and boys...sure growing up.  Unfortunately, the restaurant is doing some construction which temporarily took out the outdoor dining area...☹️.  So we were inside but had nice visit and good pizza.

Tootie, you had the "outdoor dining" day there!  Sounds deeelightful....bike ride, company and all!

kittyfan and cookie.....hang in there...the heat is really on in TX!  Whew!  Hibernation time there like we do in winter.

Good afternoon. Hot and toasty here.

TS was good. I only went out front a few times. Stayed in back doing tasks. I understand they will be installing some fans to help.

Yesterday we had spaghetti for lunch. It was good and of course I did set up and clean up. We have a volunteer who appears as soon as I am in kitchen. Susan asked me on Friday if he had eaten. I said he wa first to the table before I had finished. I had gone to store and bought some cookies. They were gone in no time.

I did make it to the Cafe. I was watching the clock. I drove up to no cars. Then another vehicle came. Family of thre got out and went in front door. I went through the patio entrance. As I was walking up a gentleman exited the office. I had seen him but didn't know his name. He greeted me by name and went in. I heard him announce I was coming!!! Of course I was warmly greeted. Had my chair pulled out and table service. The other family sat at the next table. They hadn't been before. It was tge sons BD so he had a brownie and everyone sang happy BD to him. I visited with a young man who I didn't know. He said he usually was in SA. I had a conversation with my favorite fella. Migas were so good. I didn't have my escort out but did speak to one of the ladies on the sidewalk.

During the night Friday tge dogs were alerted by something. Walked out to find a huge limb had fallen. In my path. Too heavy for me to move. Trying to get help.

Then as I was leaving Amazon box at gate. Said heavy. Not expecting anything. Went on to deal with it later. When I got home it was gone. My neighbor and I sometimes get wrong deliveries. It was hopefully his as it wasn't mine.

Looked out earlier to see a deer in yard.

Saw report we hit 107.

Hi there......hope you ordered a case of those Creamsicles, cookie!  I am going to look for those at store next time I go......if I remember..😉😅.  

kittyfan, hope you get that limb removed....might cost a few bucks unless that friendly neighborhood group can do it.  Glad you had nice time and another yummy meal at Cafe.

Last night at dinner DH got bill and was a bit startled.  I didn't pay much attention but today looked at itemized receipt!  DH and I shared a small pizza...Hawaiian type, ham, pineapple, thin crust....$27!!!!  Friends had small cheese pizza...$17.50!  Beware of prices out there...and I hear fees are being attached to bills these days to offset price increases to restaurants.  Vicious cycle!  Sad to say...we will limit eating out.  ☹️ Bit ridiculous...I understand reasonable increases but this much for pizza?

Good morning ~

Another Moanday - a real one considering the heat!  Yesterday we reached 107 and 110 in some areas!!  It was like an oven outside.  The AC and fans were working overtime.  It did get up to 80 inside in the afternoon.  Needless to say, I moved around as little as possible😃 Should be same today😓

I cannot believe the price of your small pizza walker!!!  Highway robbery in action.  Not a good way to keep customers.  I understand prices are increasing but that is out of line.  Many people are limiting going out to eat and it is sad for customers and restaurants.

kittyfan, what a nice lunch at the TS ... there's always one in every group that has to be first in line! ... happy to hear that they "rolled out the red carpet" for you at the Cafe ... (and rightfully due!) .. it sounds like you had a nice lunch and an enjoyable visit with your favorite fella ...

walker, yikes! prices are crazy ... and you mentioned fees being added to bills ... DH is painting our backyard shed and needed to get paint ... he checked his receipt when he got home and noticed he had a 45 cent "paintcare fee" added on ... he googled it and our state has this fee (and it differs depending on what size can of paint you buy) so we can dispose of the empty can at a recycle center (we don't get the money back) ... umm, funny thing is our town picks up empty paint cans, oil etc. every garbage day ... they actually send a special truck around for them ... (that's what we pay our town taxes for ...) I don't understand the fees ...

We had a nice day yesterday ... took a nice bike ride and then spent most of the afternoon on the patio ...

Today we'll have another 85 degree day (I know that would be considered cool for cookie and kittyfan) ... we're at 58 now ... I'm sending it to TX, hopefully it makes it!!

Good Morning Friends!  🇺🇸🙏....☀️

Happy Moanday Monday!  Moaning in TX with heat and moaning here because I have some chores to do...the mañana...mañana has caught up with me...ha!  I did get over to church on Saturday to drop off things for an upcoming rummage sale...felt good....get rid of stuff that takes up space not being used.

What a surprise on that paint fee, Tootie.  It is going to happen more and more.  What about tax on food?  I thought, here in IL, it was suppose to be taken off grocery bills but not so.  I need to look into that one....I remember years ago having no-tax on food...every little bit helps and food is a necessity.

I sent a message to the restaurant about the price of pizza (because I love giving my opinion..😂).  We can afford it but that's not the point.  Reasonable increases are one thing but $27 is ridiculous.  Like those $80 haircuts (which I found out doesn't mean the employee gets much increase).  I did receive a nice message back from restaurant manager explaining why prices have increased...I know all of that.....so I wrote back and said I do understand but feel that price is too much.  

Better move along....hope you all have a good day...stay in shade and A/C, cookie and kittyfan.  Those temperatures are really unbearably 🥵 high!!

Good afternoon. 103 currently. Too hot!!!

Those pizza prices sound a bit high to me. I know food costs are high but they are pricing people out of tge market.on a side note I do like the Hawaiian pizza. Been a long time nice to keep in contact.

I have a (2nd) cousin who posts way too much personal info on FB. Her husband tested positive. He went to a hotel. She is disappointed a annex trip may not happen. Argh

Tootie your bike route sounds lovely. I know you have to enjoy as weather permits.

At TS finally got yo bottom of baby clothes. Racks full. We started a rack in the back and filled tge lower rack with girls. Lots of adorable dresses

Hi friends.....got through my Moanday Monday chores.  Very humid day here but not 103!  Mama Mia!  DH was going out and I said "when you get back I may be on my walk".  He asked if I had walked out to notice humidity ...hmmmm...guess I should.  Came back in and said "I'll be here when you get back"!  Ha!  

Had to chuckle about your next rotation at TS, kittyfan..."hopefully grands will be busy"...🤞.  Don't show up if you can't be helpful!

And, I'm not on Facebook but my DD tells me DIL in FL posts way too much as well.  That really annoys me.  When we are in FL, I let her know..."don't put this on Facebook".  She probably wants to say "ok,whatever" but she is nice about it.

All for now.....oh, my goodness, it is almost time for Grandma's 5:00 Medicine...😂.  Guess I better start dinner first.

Good morning ~

Another day of triple digits - it was 112 yesterday afternoon.  They are predicting 104 - yeah, right🤔  Oh well, it's HOT and I will be not moving around much again today.  Thankful for my Kindle.

kittyfan, hope the rotation goes well and no Grands who are no help. Glad you got to the bottom of the baby clothes and the racks are full. It must be fun to sort the baby girl things - they are so cute.  

walker, giggling at your humidity walk 😅.  Very short one - out the door and right back in!  Isn't humidity good for the grass?  DH must be happy.

Tootie, I cannot believe the paintcare surcharge!!!  We obviously did not get your cool weather.  Another hijacking!😣 - should be a weather police😃  Glad you are  enjoying some nice bike rides.
