Hi there.....hope everyone is enjoying a nice day. 🇺🇸
I'm glad kittyfan mentioned the concert on You Tube, Tootie.  Outdoor Mass we went to this morning was very special.  Met friends there.  Having the Cardinal say Mass sure was nice!  Felt like I was watching a celebrity...guess he is in the church.  It was windy which saved me because we had to sit in the sun.  It was ok.  Of course, "peaceful" setting being in cemetery...ha.  

Nothing else going on here....kids all doing their own thing this weekend...🙂.  That's ok...don't call mom......🙄....HAHA!  Just kidding.

Hello friends ... DH and I had a quiet day here too, walker! ... no kids ... the Mass in Cemetary celebrated by the Cardinal sounds really nice ... were there a lot of people in attendance? ...

We had an early dinner and are going to sit out on the patio ... it's hot here but there is a nice breeze ..

Good evening. Hot day here. In the past enjoyed Memorial Day events but not in this heat.

My mother had seven brothers. Six of them served in Ww 11 along with my dad. My favorite pic is all lined up in uniform in front of GPS house.

Have scheduling conflict. Need to reschedule a drs apt. Can't be both places.

walker, the outdoor Mass sounded very nice and peaceful.  Glad you enjoyed it.   Loved your "H" - Two of my favorites - Hamburgersand Hot Dogs - YES!  

Tootie, glad you enjoyed sitting out on your patio.  A breeze always makes it nice especially when it's hot outside.  

Wow kittyfan - your mom had seven brothers!?? Six served their country💥 That is a wonderful memory.  How proud your mother must have been.  

We all had a great time at the B'day.  He chose Red Robin which we all love.  Food was great, friends and family were great.  Everyone enjoyed it.  DD got GS some bandanas of his Soccer Team - one for him and one for his dog.  He loved them - he is really into Soccer.  All in all a great day! ✨✨⚽⚽

Lab this morning then back home to another very warm day. Have a great day . . . . .

Good morning friends ... cookie, glad everyone had good food and a good time at the celebration ... your GS can now walk his dog in style with matching bandana's 😄 what a cute idea!! ... luckily, you can get your lab work done early and then back home inside ...

Shout out to walker ... 👋

We had a fire in one of the duplex houses down at the corner last night right as we were getting ready to sit on the patio ... no one was home but the firemen pulled 2 cats and 2 dogs out ... the paramedics and police worked on them and gave them oxygen ... the 2 cats didn't make it 😢 but the dogs did ... I've never seen firemen in "real action" (if you will, only on TV) ... they have a tough job! ... from breaking the door down and rushing in to see if there were any people inside, bringing the dogs out on a big tarp and carrying the poor kitties in a towel ... dragging the hoses in to fight the fire ... it was so hot and they had to put all that gear on!! ... kudos to the firemen!! ... it's what they are trained to do!! ... paramedics had a tent set up with water and a big fan going for them ... it was a sad situation but interesting to see them in action!! and kudos to the paramedics and police!

We'll be 83 humid degrees ... have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Happy Tuesday!  Have to keep reminding myself....Tuesday!  The week will be out of order...ha!  Warm and humid...actually turned on A/C yesterday.

Tootie, wow, real action TV drama in your neighborhood....very unsettling.  Sad about cats not surviving.  Now the fire smell will linger.  Wondering how it started.  Yes, kudos to those emergency first responders! 

cookie, glad you enjoyed the birthday celebration for GS.

I was so bummed when our local Red Robin closed...good burgers and fries.

kittyfan, bravo to your military family!  That family picture would be a treasure.  

I guess today will be catch-up Tuesday....laundry for sure...no machines running over holiday...😁.

Hello friends ... wow walker, that's a lot of people for the Mass.

Well, DH is officially retired!! Since he was still working from home he had to return all of his equipment today ... during these last 5 months the company decided to move the work of his department overseas ... he was lucky he could retire, some of his employees stayed on in other positions and some left to go to another company ... now we know why they wanted him to stay on ... they needed his help to "train" the new overseas employees via the computer ... it worked out ok as they made it worth his while ... 😉 ... tomorrow, on his down time 😂 his is going to work in the flower garden.
