Good morning friends ... cookie, glad you enjoyed the Mimosas ... I feel bad for you DD, not only does she have the stress of being sick but now she is worrying about her clients! ... I sure hope they can find something out and she starts to get better real soon ... Molly sounds like a little cutie and you don't even have to leave your room to get some entertainment ... 🙂

We're having a rainy 50 degree day with very high winds ... ugh! I don't like when it gets so windy out ... our garbage pickup is tomorrow and we have several neighbors that will put their totes out this morning ... I can see it now, garbage everywhere!!

Shoutout to kittyfan and walker ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Hi Tootie ~

DD took her ever present phone with her to the hospital and can call her clients and rearrange appointments.  She has some wonderful ladies that love her and will work with her.  Still, she is a mover, go -getter and doing nothing is not in her vocabulary😗 Nothing new yet - she is also not a morning person😊  DIL will probably go over and spend the day with her.  I have considered it, but I woke up with a ache in y left side back muscle and almost doing anything hurts when moving.  I am doing stretching excercises to help which they do, but the jabs of pain are irregular.  Oh the joys of waking up each morning with a new place that is painful.  Thankfully, don't lst long but makes doing much unpleasant.  Therefore, I shall extend my usual amount of UB's and enjoy a huge one today😄

Molly is now called The Flying Jumper.  She must have learned something from Seven.  Run like crazy, jump up and fly to designated object😂.  

Time for another cup of coffee and a deep breath.

Tootie, LG is all boy loving cars and trucks!!  Did I tell you all the story about a favorite truck of DS?(gave to neighbor's boy...family had to move and left in dumpster?? 😳😡)....Maybe my favorite truck since I saved it....still in great shape and sits under our Christmas tree.  ..... ????  oh well...you can read it, eh?

Thanks for the mimosas, Tootie.  I'll have one with breakfast....great way to start day....I'll celebrate GD's birthday!!   Growing up too fast😢 .... 11 today...such a joy!

Hi there......just back from seeing GD to give her present to her.  She has gymnastics tonight so no celebration. Dinner out Saturday.  But, we did have the family party last Saturday for both GS and GD since their birthdays are close.  As much as I love cake...my grandkids do not!! 😩 They just had ice cream....ha!!!  oh well, that was good too.

I thought of you when I took my walk today, Tootie.  It is garbage day here and there was a wind.  YUP...you guessed it....recycle trash was flying!  We have closed containers too!  But, some people fill them to overflowing so lids are open and/or use the tote containers we used to have.  I just had to laugh since you mentioned your wind and garbage.

Done with outside decorating.....perfect day to do it too.

Talked to Michigan friends today ....we do a Zoom call once a week.  A few knew of people affected by that tragic shooting this week.  Many school districts have closed for this week.  Just awful!  The shooter never should have had access to that gun!!  Irresponsible parents!!!  Arrest them or sue them!!!!  Awful!!!

OK....better get dinner going so grandma can have her medicine!!  😁🍷

The Michigan situation is a real tragedy. Dad only purchased the weapon a few days ago. And there was access.

We had Christmas event at church tonight. I had decided not to go for various reasons. We didn't have it last year but the previous year was not fun. Decided to opt out. Lots of reasons. I did get to hear about the decor etc. Tommorrow is book club. I didn't read book but it isn't necessary with this group. On fence about attending. They do take attendance so I need to send regrets. Next year will be the 125th anniversary. They did not meet during WWII. Covid was via zoom. Last month was first in person but I could not attend due to tS. I think next month will be TS conflict again..

Good morning ~

DD gets to come home today!  She texted me last night - I was already long gone asleep so got it this morning.  She didn't say anything more.  Hope to find out what caused the problems.  I felt so bad that I couldn't get in the car without pain so I could go see her.  Even sneezing hurt!  Better this morning - heating pad all day helped.  Little shots of pain here and there making some things difficult but thankful that it is not continuous pain.  There must be a little pain fairy in my back that stabs occasionally to remind me of her presence 🧚‍♀️😊  Weird stuff!

kittyfan, I think you made a good decision about the book club.  You are so busy at TS and helping others you need time for you!  Do you still belong to the other book clubs?  

I read about the tragedy in Michigan and agree with you walker - Irresponsible parents!!!   Arrest or sue!!  People are getting away with murder literally😥😥  Thieves are walking the streets with weapons and guns taking anything they want.  Need harder punishment for sure. 

Every time I see winds on trash day, I think of you Tootie - chasing your totes!!  Funny images.  😄😄

Our totes are out to the curb but the winds have died down so there will/should be no running after the totes for me ...

Happy Friday!  Happy news for you, cookie, that your DD will be coming home.  And, yes, hope that Pain Fairy takes a hike as Tootie suggested.  I had something like that happen a few years ago traveling to Florida.  I must have twisted a muscle before leaving and it flared up on the road.  Just as you said about pain getting into car.  I could barely get out and in car at rest stops.  I was doing the old Lamaze breathing and walked like I was 105!   Made first hotel stop and thought I would end up in hospital.  Long story short...I worked through pain..2 Aleve instead of 1....got to FL to visit friends...she gave me some special ointment that was big help...then at DS's he told me to use ice packs instead of heat.  It finally improved but think it took a week....darn Pain Fairy!! 😆

You needed all that information, eh?  HA!!!  Glad you are doing better, cookie!!

Just read those parents of shooter in MI may be charged soon!  👏 ....Sadly, it won't bring back lives.  😢

kittyfan, have you been back to Cafe recently?  Glad you are taking more time to yourself...resting wings.

Oh, Tootie, funny about kids birthday dessert....substitute is brownies!  Who doesn't like cake???  Especially kids!  My DD doesn't care for cake either...icing too sweet or something.  To me icing is best part..ha!

walker, I can feel your pain when you traveled with muscle issues ... ouch!! ... I know how it was when we went on our road trips (with no muscle issues) and when we stopped for our lunch ... yikes!! here comes that 105 year old person ... hopefully, that never happens to you again ... brownies are a good choice for a Birthday Cake 😋
