kittyfan, Glad you got a trip to the Cafe.  I've never ben a fan of counter ordering either.  Hope that gets changed to waiters - lends a personal touch and it's nice to be served. You are their best customer in so many ways.  Nice to be appreciated as you certainly are.  We did have Hatch chilis in CA and Pasilla chilis which I loved but have not seen them here.  Wonder if they are the same as one that has another name here?

Tootie, I think we are getting a start on Fall.  We will be 76 today!  Leaves are still mostly on the trees still.  You are lucky to have such a pretty Fall with the different color leaves.  Here, not many. How are the kidlets doing?  Does LG like to crunch leaves?  My oldest GS loved to go on walks and step and jump on "crunchers".  He wanted roll in them as well 😄 Sometime I let him, but with a promise to take a bath when we got home.  Sure love that boy.  Many special memories with him.    

walker, you are a lucky G'ma to have the 3 Amigos. Special guys for sure!  How cute that one even made his own bed!  And, how nice that you can walk in the beautiful Fall weather.

Moanday Monday here - going to ignore it and UB all day!  DD came home last night.  SIL picked her up from the airport and then they went out to dinner.  SIL surprised her with a clean house - he spent the day sweeping, dusting and mopping. Then he got on his $$Toy and did the front yards!!  Everything looked great.  Lucky lady.

Weather is going to be delightful for a couple of days.  I have some errands to run this morning.  Paper still not here.....so, guess I will move onto breakfast and get this day started!

I ordered a pie from Kristen for my dominos group. They are getting too picky. No chocolate and no coconut cream. We have expanded a bit. Almost too large to fit around the table. But I do enjoy getting together.

I am thinking the Cafe is not the same since the remodel. I know I need to give it time and I do love it and the people

Yesterday I ordered a burger. I am thinking they downsized the bun etc. I know rising costs. And they are donation based. I saw two tables that were newbies as they had to explain process.

I think covid is here to stay. Like flu won't go away and yearly boosters.

I ordered some dog food. I couldn't get my online order to work so I had to call. Said it would process in a few days but they use FedEx. No guarantee when it might arrive!!

Hello friends ... walker, glad you had good weather to get a walk in and you were able to crunch the leaves (haha) ... we haven't done that yet with LG but at some point we will ... 😁

kittyfan, I think with time you will get used to the Cafe ... at least for now you still get to see your friends and enjoy the food ... it's tough to get a dessert/food for a group of people ... everybody's taste is different ... good luck with that.

We ended up having another damp and rainy day ...

I started out the desert for dominos. Know it is expected. I really don't mind but I try to mix it up. Sometimes it would nice to do chocolate!

I know I will adjust to the Cafe when they reopened I was greeted by a new person. Well they came back to say he had learned I was a VIP .. I know there are plenty of regular customers



I was reading about Lucy. Almost didn't get air. Finally a cigarette sponsor but they had to feature their product

kittyfan, it's too bad the ladies at the Domino can't agree tto mix it up.  Trying new/different things is a good thing.  Just be thankful that there is a desert!!!  I think you will definitely adjust to the Cafe - with all they've gott going for them it is a delicious, warm and friendly place to be. And... you are their #1 for sure!

walker, how lucky you had a great cruncher walk.  I do miss that.  My G'sons loved it as well.  Love the pics of all the leaves, etc.  

Tootie, once you go crunching, you will never forget it.  I am sure LG will beg to go again after the first time.  Congratulations on the great V! 😂😂
