Thank you all for a famous birthday bash!!! Of course it wouldn't be complete without Cousin Eddie. Unfortunately most families have at least one character to muddle things up!!!!

Good morning ~

Still recovering from the Big Bash.  What fun!  We are such a great group - YAY SCC!!!  Hoping cousin Eddie didn't show up at your house Tootie.  He may just be in your local PD's jail.🤔  Even with cousin Eddie's appearance, we still had a good time.  

walker, enjoy your time with the 3 Amigos.  As kittyfan said three can put away a lot of food.  Empty pantry coming up!  Good way to organize it! 😊

Tootie, did you ever get the banner unstuck and out of the tree?  Cute pictures BTW.  

kittyfan, I love the Hatch green chiies!  They make great chili rellanos.  My friend makes them stuffed with string cheese.  Easy and delicious.  Sauce or no sauce - YUM!

Good morning friends ... we certainly do know how to party!! ... cookie, you may have missed it but your SIL ran right out to help us yesterday ... he grabbed his ladder and pulled the banner from the tree!! 😁 ... the balloon that CE stole and burned up was the Captains ... I saw a little blurb on the TV last night ... they asked him why he stole the balloon and he told them he was "throwing a party for some lady friends, a nice bunch of ladies. I've been friends with them for a long time ... I'm a Chef and a caterer and I'm a very good one! ... I don't know why I took that balloon" ... blah, blah, blah. (they finally took him off camera) ... he will be held in jail for a week ... 😂😂

walker, I hope you had a good night and breakfast with the Amigos ...

Shout out to kittyfan and cookie ... I never heard of or had those chiles.

I guess Fall has found it's way here ... it's 50 degrees now and our high will only be 56!!

Laughing at cousin Eddie's final outcome of the day.  What would we do without him!???  Let's see, this post isn't long enough to hold so many things😂  Hope one week in jail is long enough!!! 

The chili's mentioned are mild and delicious, especially in chili rellano and grilled with cheese and bacon and or shrimp - whatever fits your fancy.

Good Morning Friends!  🇺🇸☕️🍂

House is quiet!  I woke up early and am enjoying the peacefulness!  Having my coffee and smiling at your messages and all the fun we had yesterday!  I am sure we will be discovered someday for our SCC Adventures!  We could take over where Lucy left off.  😁

We had such a nice evening with the 3 Amigos.  They are great kids.....polite, friendly and actually can carry on conversations.  Fun guys!  Yes, they eat, eat, eat.  Poor parents with grocery prices increasing too!  We watched a movie together after dinner.  I guess I was wound up after my big day so I did not sleep well (maybe too many mimosas...haha).  Anyway, after boys go home, it will be an all UB day!  They have requested pancakes for breakfast...one wants butterscotch (just happen to have chips)...one wants chocolate-chips (always have on hand)....third...not sure.  DH and I will have blueberry.  No mimosas being served here today...😂.

Happy Sunday!  Thanks for the great friendship.  SCC #1!

Good afternoon. Popped in earlier this morning. Yes Hatch chilies are very good. Probably don't make them to other areas.

Went to church the organist said she was to play for a funeral. I didn't know person.

Then decided to swing by Cafe. Found a parking spot. Sat and read my book for a bit. Then went inside. I am NOT a fan of their ordering at the counter. As I was standing in line two young men offered to let me go ahead. I declined. About that time a server came up. Was it my first time----NO! he told me I could take a seat. About that time Sam appears to say hello. He then realized I was a regular. I enjoyed the personal contact. Although several stopped to say hello. Just nit the same and I verbalized this. I know others feel the same. There is another local restaurant thar uses this format. Not a fan.



Decidedto head home. Decided a UB was in order. This morning saw my deer family passing through

Hi there......starting to fade here....beautiful Fall day...took my walk....washed bed linens and towels from overnight...beds ready for next guests.  So cute...one of my 3A's took room by himself and made his bed.  He did a good job too!  I did not have heart to tell him....ummm..I just need to take sheets off.  Love these guys...great fun!

kittyfan, I hope there are not too many changes to Cafe.  I don't like the counter order thing either.  And, you are their best customer!!   You deserve VIP treatment!

Tootie, sigh, the signs of Fall....I know and out with A/C is one!!   Have you noticed trees haven't been as pretty this year?  And, some of ours have dropped leaves but still green.  

cookie, you and SIL getting along ok with DD gone?

walker, I forgot to mention yesterday ... what a nice variety of pancakes you had for the boys ... I suppose they each like something different ... 😁 and they made the bed up for you?!! how cute! they sound like great kids ...  we have very few trees here that have actually changed colors ... most seem to have their leaves dry up and drop ... not very pretty at all this year!

It's raining now but is supposed to clear up for a while and then more rain around dinnertime ... our high will be 54 today!!

Today is Catch Up Moanday as I UB'd for a good part of the day yesterday ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.
