Back again because my brain is on sleep mode and I forgot what I wanted to say earlier.  If you read cartoons in newspaper.....seems to me Tootie reads Pickles....well...the cartoon called The Born Loser today is yours truly and DH....aka...Desi and Lucy.  I laughed out loud when I read it and immediately passed it to DH.  He laughed too.  That is him with his favorite lawn toy!  If you don't see it, I can describe scene later. 🤣🤣

Glad you saw the cartoon, Tootie.  Pretty funny to us.  I am watching closing ceremonies....might be better than opening.  Hope you enjoyed another quick peak and cuddle with LS.  Nice of you to take dinner....always appreciated by tired parents!  How is LG doing?

Tootie, you are such a good Grammie - bringing dinner for a tired DIL.  You got a twofer last night - LG and LS!  Lucky Grammie.

walker, men and their favorite lawn toys!!!  Sometimes I think SIL rides the mower just for fun.  I also noticed the days are getting dark earlier.  I am the same as you - when the sun goes down, so do my eyelids.  zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

We had company yesterday afternoon - cute little girls and their mom and dad.  The girls are so much fun - and well behaved too.  They stop by every so often and it is always nice to see them.  SIL grilled steak - yum!  Girls took a bath in DD's big tub that bubbles - haha.  

Lab this morning, then home to enjoy Moanday catch up 🙁 Another hot one today - 97 ☀️

Good morning friends ... cookie, how fun that you had two little visitors yesterday ... I'm sure they made your day! ... your "V" is perfect for a hot day ... 😉

walker, what did you think of the Closing Ceremony? I wasn't impressed at all ... in fact, I noticed that a lot of the athletes were just sitting or laying down while it was going on and it even looked like some of them left during it ... the field thinned out a bit ... I feel like they could have done a better job at both the Opening and the Closing ... I did enjoy the Fly Over in Paris ... LG is doing ok with LS ... but he didn't like that grandpa was holding her ... LG is very attached to grandpa (and it melts his heart) so they enjoyed some playtime together ...

Happy Muggy Moanday Monday! 😁 Tomorrow, here anyway, is suppose to be the worst....heat index near 100.

Heat is one thing but the humidity really wilts everyone. 

cookie, hope you get out and back before you wilt and have the HHH look.  Sounds like you had fun with cute visitors and a bonus....SIL Grills!  

I watched some of closing ceremony last night.  I was not impressed either, Tootie.  I hoped it would be better.  It was Ho-Hum like Olympics .....not good this year!   Some athletes had gone home before closing too. Congratulations to all the athletes who worked so hard to get there.

LG is going to need some extra attention for awhile until he adjust to LS.  I think it is nice when people bring baby gifts also bring something for sibling.   

All for now......I need some....

Hello ... it is hot!! ... I went out to get the mail and it was like walking into a sauna ... 🥵 no bike ride for us tonight.

walker, I agree about bringing a gift for a baby's sibling ... LG got gifts from everyone that went to see LS ... he now has a whole fleet of cars and trucks that he just loves!! and LS has a nice assortment of clothes!!

I just finished putting my last load of laundry away and am taking a quick UB before I start dinner ...

No cool afternoon here, Tootie!  HUMID!  And it has been rainy day which we need badly!  But, right now we have heavy rain and storms/tornadoes in area.  I might be in the Land of Oz soon...🤣.....good-bye my friends...haha...seriously, severe weather is just that but I am safe...for now....DH keeps running around...is sump pump (basement) working...leaks in basement???  So, I am just having Grandma's Meds and not worrying....HA...what a way to go!  Thought I better write while I have electricity.  Lights have flickered...not good sign.

Good news that LG is receiving some nice presents too...it is hard being a big brother!!  😁  He will be a good one!
