hi walker ... hope all went well with the blood draw .. maybe you missed it in my post, but cookie has no internet, she just sent another email and said she can send emails but not receive them ... (and she is mad!!)

I just had a mess to clean up in the basement ... I am doing wash today and dropped my new jug of detergent on the floor ... it hit flat on the bottom and spouted up and out like a volcano ... and then tipped on its' side with detergent going everywhere ... very slimey to try to sop up ... I grabbed some rags and now when I wash those I envision an I Love Lucy episode ... suds everywhere!! ... but one good thing out of this ... my basement smells nice and fresh!! 😏

Tootie, thanks for explanation about cookie.  I guess I read your message wrong.  When you said "no internet" I thought that meant you wondered if that was the reason she was not on.  Anyway, surprised she can email but nothing else.  Then why am I surprised....I don't understand much with technology...haha.

Sorry about your sudsy problem there but I had to laugh when you said your basement " smells nice and fresh"..😂.

Funny weather day...seemed like it wanted to rain but hasn't.....think I am going out for my meat and fish now.  I usually avoid going out in afternoon but may as well.

Hello ... the rain held out for most of the day and started about dinner ... I did edit my post this morning (the part about cookie not having internet) but for some reason it didn't change  🤷‍♀️

I went to the grocery store this afternoon ... it wasn't too bad ... I usually like to go early too but wanted to get it over with ... so now I don't need to go in the morning.

Hi there my friends....hope cookie is back on tomorrow.  My thinking today was the same as yours, Tootie.....get the shopping done today so I don't have to go out tomorrow.

I have been reading about price of groceries going up....one being McCormick's Spices....so, I picked out some I use regularly..checked dates to see if they would be good for awhile and bought several.  Prices are getting crazy......or is that ME???  LOL!  Could BE!!

walker, I have noticed the prices going up too ... good idea about getting ahead on your spices ... some of them were pricey to begin with!!

We'll have another day of off and on rain ... high of 79 ... ugh, we've only been on a bike ride twice this summer ... it's either been too hot and humid or raining ... at some point this weather has to give!!

Good C, Tootie!  Hope to see cookie soon.  It is so frustrating to have those issues since our daily lives revolve around our "connections".  kittyfan, sorry you had frustrations too with lost post but glad you got your hello in .....try, try again, eh?

I just got a message that my lab results were online so I have checked them quickly.  Overall not bad....but doctor still has to review them.  I had one high flag and one low flag.....again, I will wait on doctor's comment.  My cholesterol was consistent with last year...222 which is over the recommended "under 200" mark.  My HDL and LDL are good so I hope doctor gives me a pass. 🤞

Laundry day for me.....I will hold onto my detergent!! 😂

walker, I have the same issue with my cholesterol and doc doesn't really want to put me on anything just yet ... his famous last words are "maybe if you could lose 5 pounds or so that would bring it down" ... (I laugh to myself and think "at least he said 5 pounds or so") ... he chooses his words wisely! 😊   I laughed at your comment about not dropping your detergent ... any spillage??

Hi Tootie.....I am glad cookie has been in touch...hope her GS can fix her problem.  We need all SCC here!!  Yes, you have good doctor who chooses words carefully.  Funny about the 5 lbs!  That might help me too!  I thought of you every time I reached for my detergent today....whew...no spills!!

Hopping in. Today was traon with friends I picked up a key lime pie at the bakery. Chatty Catjy was hostess. She has two cute doggies. She was fairly quiet.

We changed our day from Thursday yo Ffidag yo accommodate Cathy. I am such creature of habit I am having a hard time adjusting.

I saw the Cafd in SA had four feet of water. So much damage. I need yo check on my spot. I have really been missing it. Meeting after church on Siunday.

Our server at book club said they are struggling with staffing. Local owners. I know they spent a lot of money go remodel. She said there is a shortage of chicken wings. Not dsb I am hea r ing costs of food and supplies increasing.
