Happy Wednesday!  I have an early appointment for my "Wellness" check with doctor.  I go once a year so I can get my BP meds renewed.  Usually I get a blood draw too. This year they said no...not with Wellness...hmmm....ok, we will see what doctor says.  I'll go in fasting anyway.  I have been doing same routine for 20 years...what's up? Stay tuned.

LG sounds so cute, Tootie.  Isn't it fun watching them discover new things?  Won't be long and he will be a Big Brother!! 

The humidity hangs on here but we are suppose to have a break soon....then heats up for 4th again.  At least, I think, rain has stopped. 🤞 Sorry you are still having it, cookie and kittyfan.  Soon you both can start your Ark.  A place for Jake and Seven....no deer!  😂 Woof...Woof

I got an email today from my primary doctor ... "you're overdue for you physical and bloodwork" ... ooops!! I just never rescheduled after I cancelled due to Covid ... so I called and have one set up for September ...

It finally seems to be cooling down a little bit ... humidity not as high ...

Hi there ....another day rolls on.....I guess I passed my "wellness" visit with doctor, Tootie.......my heart was beating so that is a good thing! Ha!  But, doctor was LATE!!!  I scheduled first appointment...this has happened before with her being late....excuse...road construction!!!  Heard that before!!!  COME ON...LEAVE EARLIER!!  Not happy but I like her.  I will not set first appointments again...GEEZ!!   I did find out that Medicare changed things.....of course.....and you have to visit the doctor who THEN  has to request another "office visit" for the blood draw.  🙄 Whatever works!!  So, I went in hungry this time and now have to return but in a couple of weeks.

When I checked out to set up "blood draw"....I was offered an afternoon appointment....NO THANKS...if I have to fast...isn't there something earlier???  OK..yes...in two weeks....fine, whatever!!!  Some people just go to doctor if they feel sick.  Maybe that is a good idea!

Glad it is getting cooler for you, Tootie.  By the way, so glad you had fun with a girlfriend yesterday.  Girlfriends are so special....LIKE SCC!!!!  😁👍

Glad you passed your wellness visit walker.  I believe that doctor's have a certain rituals and being late is number one!  Medicare is always changing something!  So many regulations.

Glad your doc sent you an email reminder for your appointment Tootie.  COVID has fooled with memory for a lot of us!  Not good to forget important appointments.. You are not alone! 😊 Thanks for the update on LG.  He sounds like a very smart and fun little one - of course he is!! - he is your Grandson!!! 

kittyfan ~ Hope the plumbing crisis at the TS is over and repaired.  How is the Cafe doing?

walker, glad to hear that your appointment went well besides the fact that your doctor was late ... ugh!! ... I know things come up but when you are in a position like that you need to be on time ... like you said, leave earlier! ... and now you have to have another appointment for bloodwork??!! that is annoying!! ... I guess I've been lucky with my appointments because I always make mine for the first one of the day and so far 🤞 so good ...

We'll have another "no humidity" 80 degree day ... it felt so good to be able to sit out on our patio last night ...

Good Morning

Went to do my Lans yesterday. Very busy place  walked in behind three guys. Two were self pay as they didn't have insurance. Yeats ago I knew someone who had lots of resources. He didn't have insurance. Had bypass surgery. Self pay. My DH was seeing a Dr. Changed to a no insurance practice. Needless to say he changed providers. I am sure insurance billing etc is quite an expensive thing 

Another hot day here. 

Have ladies group at church tonight. We are such a small group. So dislike the "we can't change. Always done it this way"

Hi there kittyfan, good to see you.  Hope your ladies group meeting went well.  It would be frustrating dealing with people "stuck in their ways".  

I got one of those After Office Visit Surveys from doctor's office today.  First question....was I taken care of in timely manner..???  Great....answer NO but I like my doctor and don't want to give her a bad review. However, her being late (especially since it happened before) is bad...unprofessional.  What to do?  I could not get beyond first question without answering it.  Fortunately, I am/have been healthy and only see her once a year.  🥴 AGAIN??

BEEEEE...🐝....UUUTIFUL day here....told DH don't get used to it....we still have all of July and August to get through.

Yes, kittyfan the Insurance business is expensive, complicated and seemingly unfriendly to subscribers.  They can be very confusing too  Iam thankful for a good one but considering my meds, poorer too!

walker, I also get the after visit surveys from my doctor.  I like mine a lot and she is worthy of high praise.  She usually runs late from patient to patient.  I always bring my Kindle - as soon as I open it and get into the story, she comes in 😁 I agree with Tootie - first morning appointments.

Something bit me yesterday morning and I now have 3 egg sized swellings that itch like crazy on my left arm!  Not a happy camper here.  I tried to squees the liquid out, but only made them bigger.  I have no clue since the only insects I see are flies and they are trapped n my sticky little bug catcher that the Exterminator leaves every month.  Also trying pieces of zest soap which is supposed to keep them away.  I did'n't  think flies bit people 😒 

kittyfan, hope your ladies group went well.   Some things don't change which can be annoying.
