Hi everyone....kittyfan, good to see you....post however you can...in sections, code, etc...ha!  Anything possible here.  Our church is now open...no restrictions, took down all section markings, etc....we have not returned yet.  They said via email bulletin that the regular Mass schedule will be later in August.  Right now they have 8AM (too early for me)...and 11:00  (too late for DH)...waiting on the 9:30 to return.  Picky, picky...eh? 😂

So, family came for dinner....even my BoB!!!! 🙄 😂 We had a good time..I was just happy my BoB went back home!  Kids showed us all their vacation pictures.  DD and family needed to be propped up so tired from baseball tournament weekend.

Hope everyone....especially Fathers all around...had a good day!!!

walker, how fun to see the vacations pictures with the kids.  Sounds like a great family day especially with  BoB who is kind of like grandchildren - enjoy them and then they go home😊 🐕‍🦺  Glad your church is open, but not at a convenient time for you.  I see more Church on the Couch in your future.

kittyfan - another character for your ever expanding book!  Tammy Faye's sister - Pammy Pancake Faye 😄  Austin is getting more and more like the wild West!  So many shootings - makes me wonder why the Gov signed a bill for open carry!???? 😣  Nice to see Kristen - maybe the new seating process will change.  Hope they get all the restrictions cleared up.  

Tootie, did you hear the Blue Angels?  Hope you and your DH had a nice relaxing Father's Day.  

DD and SIL went down to SIL's parents ranch and spent a beautiful day there.  It is really pretty and they have about 50 or cows and babies!  I had the whole day to myself and made use of a good UB (w/o the Velveta!)

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, your comment about Tammy Faye's "sister" using a trowel for her makeup made me laugh!! you do meet some interestig characters ... sometimes I wonder how you hold it all together when the know-it-alls get together and start yacking ... I hope the remodeling starts to pick up at the Cafe and maybe they'll see that ordering at the counter isn't such a good idea and change it once it opens back up.

walker, you had a fun day too!! vacation pictures are always fun ... I'm not sure if our restrictions for seating are lifted yet at Mass ... I know they still don't have the holy water or missalettes yet ... but I am a little mad that in our bulletin the Diocese is ordering us to go back to Mass "EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY" (that's how it was written) ... even though we are vaccinated I'm just not ready to sit in crowds yet ... we're still watching it on TV although the Diocese has limited that ... Parishes are only allowed to livestream one Mass per day ... 🤷‍♀️ big changes are coming to the Catholic Churches in our area ... (not merging) but they are combining 2/3 parishes ... they will all work together but still be their own ...

walker, I see there were tornadoes in Chicago ... anything near you??

Sorry, I rattled on ... We did get to see two Blue Angels yesterday ... they flew (which sounded like) right over our house ... it was sooo loud. We ran out to the yard and saw them doing their flips ... LG was here yesterday and boy is he busy ... Grammie/Grandpa got a good workout ...

We'll have an 84 degree day with "passing showers" ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Our weather is crazy.....hot...stormy..now chilly....we might reach 70 today!  A/C OFF!  I heard some rain and thunder last night but did not realize how bad it was south of us until I turned on the morning news.  Wow.....definitely a tornado in the area!  We are fortunate that it missed us, Tootie.

kittyfan, I totally missed the first two "sections" of your message yesterday.  So, I went back after reading cookie's and Tootie's comments.  Oh my.....the people you meet!!!

I laughed at Tammy Faye's sister showing up...🤣....Pammy Pancake Faye...LOL ....good one, cookie!  I hope the Cafe will change its serving plans too.

Tootie, sounds like you (and DH) enjoyed a nice Father's Day with LG and Blue Angels too!  The Catholic Church does not do itself any favors with how they handle things....you don't give orders out with talk of "effective immediately"....geez.....that is "welcoming"???  I think NOT!  Makes me mad too.....no wonder people leave the church!  Our area started combining some churches a couple of years ago.  I am not seeing any changes but the past year affected everything.  We are suppose to share certain things, I guess.

Well, I should move along....."might" go make more friends today at another dealership...🚗🚗🚗.  And, the beat goes on.....hope you all have a Happy Monday!

walker, the tornados in your neck of the woods?  Scary things!  Glad it skipped you!!!  You must have had a crown on your roof!   The Catholic church is sure complicated.  Hope they get things back to normal.  

Tootie, how fun to see the Blue Angels flip after all.  DId LG enjoy them?  They are very loud but worth seeing.  Hope Grammie and Grandpa got a long UB!  Just wait until he is older - the old they get, the faster they move!  

Went to my doctor appointment, got a front parking place and was early.  They had no record of my appointment!!! What?  I got texts and email reminders!!!  They will send a request to make an appointment since this one was a bit overdue.. Oh well, got some other stuff done. 

kittyfan - are you totally wilted?  The heat is intense!  I am drinking gallons of water!!  Stay cool and hydrated.

Good morning friends ... geez cookie, someone messed up with your appointment but glad that it wasn't a wasted trip for you!! ... the Blue Angels were a little too far away for LG to see them but he enjoyed being out in the yard (but only for a little while ... it was very humid on Sunday)

walker, did you make it to the dealers and did you have any luck??

We'll have a cooler day ... 53 now and our high is 65!! ... sending some of this cool weather to my Southern friends!!

cookie, that is too bad about problem with your appointment.....at least you got a good parking place....my first thought was....they sent reminders..their mistake..couldn't they fit you in??  Guess not....que sera, sera.....whatcha gonna do? 😉

We did go to another dealer yesterday, Tootie.  More disappointment.....inventory low everywhere!  Taking a break from it now..not buying just to buy...new model year comes out pretty soon...wondering if there will be cars to look at!  Today we have to complete paperwork for insurance company on deer-damaged car.  

cookie, I laughed when you said I must have a "crown on my roof" so storm missed me Sunday night!  The pictures are really bad of damage to area.  I think...what if that was my neighborhood?  Thankful it wasn't!
