Tootie, I am anxious to get my flowers too but think I will wait until next week.  Hope they aren't picked over from this weekend.

Good morning ~  Good thing I woke up early!  Forgot to set the coffee last night and had to get it done before 4:30 this morning.  Done and delicious!

I envy you Tootie - planting flowers and having them grow.  Not a chance here.  I do remember doing it with my GD many years ago - she is 38 now - oh the memories.....she still has fond memories doing it 💕💕

walker, try some Jalapeno poppers  -with shrimp if you like shrimp - or just with cream cheese wrapped with bacon - YUMMMMM!  DD and I were thinking we could make some Jalapeno Popper burgers with SIL on the grill.  Win win situation for us!😀

Yesterday's manicure and pedicure were soooooo good.  They were so happy to see me!  Love tthose ladies!  Tried a new color called hot chocolate - with lots of cream.  Kind of mauve hot chocolate.  Nice but will try something else next time.  I left feeling like a million dollars.  Amazing what a manicure/pedicure can do to you. 

Got home and was surprised by a beautiful bouquet of white Hydrangeas from our guests (friends) for Mother's Day!!!  🌺🌺 Such a nice couple!  They leave Sunday and will be missed. Today will be a UB day for me.  Running around with DD is enervating!

kittyfan - how are things going with the TS?  Hope you aren't the only support and you have some good help.

Good morning friends ... cookie, glad you were able to go out and get your mani/pedi ... how nice that your friends got you Hydrangeas ... my "planting" flowers consists of pointing where I want them to go 😁 DH won't plant though until Memorial Day Weekend ... the Nursery had a nice selection and it wasn't too crowded!!

Happy Saturday!  Let there be flowers.....in a vase...in ground...or not yet..😄....love flowers!  cookie, hydrangeas are so pretty.  I have a neighbor across street who planted a long row of whites next to her house which I can see out my front window. Beautiful!   I think I enjoy them more than she does!  Tootie, I laughed when you said your planting "consists of pointing to where I want them to go"...haha.

Well, I am really going to take it easy until I go to DD's later.  I did something to my side....reaching, stretching...don't know.....had this happen a few years ago in my back....painful.  Anyway, I did not sleep well last night.  I should go to doctor but I always play doctor myself first..maybe not smart.  We'll see how day goes.🤞

Good morning. Tried to post yesterday but had difficulty. Couldn't keep my eyes open so I went to bed

only to be wide awake two hours later! 

Went to TS. It was busy but I stayed in back. Only went out front once. 

Did some catch up and headed to Cafe. Not busy. So I chatted with my server. Sweet Kristen can over to visit. Told me to call her with ETA and she would have spot for me  may forgo Sunday although I know it will be along time before they are open again due to remodel.

I knew Cookie would appreciate the poppers. How nice your guests gifted you flowers. 

Walker take care. Can't have the neighborhood watch out of service 

Went by church yesterday. My key didn't work. Worked at another door. Knew they had issues. Need to try another key tomorrow  cant not get in if no one is around. 

Have book club on Wednesday. Not a favorite venue. But book was good  Thursday we have service  I had hoped to watch from  home but duties may dictate. Had planned to do TS on Friday.  Not going on Monday. 

We probably will lift restrictions and open on Saturdays again beginning in July. 

The Cafe is opening a second venue in San Antonio. They are very busy and it is well deserved  Kristen will be spending time there during remodel. Not a permanent move I hope. She's needed here to help run things. She showed me pics. New spot is very nice

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!! 💐💐

God Bless All Mothers....some with us, some not ...thankful for love God blessed us all with on this earth!

First, cookie, sorry you are not feeling well....sounds like a good head cold.  UB day with tea for you!  Maybe a good grilled dinner later?  Feel better soon!

Thankfully, I do feel better today....UBs work with ointment, cold pack and hot showers...ha!  Hot shower felt so good in morning and after a day of rubbing ointment on, I took another shower before going out..ha.  Strange but glad it passed.  I started worrying about everything...should not Google symptoms!

I did not walk yesterday....laughed when kittyfan said "can't have neighborhood watch out of service".  I need to get back on patrol.

Went to DD's last night and had a nice time together....good dinner too.  All the gifts I needed just gathered around!  Kids made me cards...beats Hallmark anytime!  Today....another UB day....do whatever I want as I want.....not a good grilling day but I am going to fix a dinner I like.....easy....Chicken Piccata and Spanish Rice.

Tootie, hope you enjoy your breakfast with family....and, best of all, fun with LG!  Grammie plays with LG while family cooks and cleans-up!  Win-Win!
