Good morning ~  So our Queen is now a certified Queen of Doggie Day Care. 😊   After reading your escapades and laughing all the way to my next UB, I am 100% sure I could not do it.  You have earrned your DDC Crown walker!!

We will be 94 today - TOO WARM!!!!  A sample of what's to come.  I will stay inside and enjoy the AC.  Need to perk up.  Having some down thoughts and unpleasant dreams - will re-evaluate myself and get out ot this funk.

Hi Tootie, kittyfan and MissMadi ~

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Friends!  🇺🇸 ⛅️

Just heard the news about Prince Phillip passing too.  RIP.

Like my own parents, the Queen and Prince have always been part of my life growing up.  Funeral arrangements should be interesting because he said he did not want a State Funeral.....never wanted to upstage the Queen.

Speaking of Queen....I am laughing about Queen of DDC, cookie.  Don't spread the word.....no more dogs allowed!!
And, Tootie, your description of crown was pretty funny as well.  I am going to enjoy a quiet, boring day...ha!  Too old for active dogs!

Too much heat too soon for you, cookie!  We need to perk you up!  How about a day with Cousin Eddie? 🤣 SCC sticks together....as Tootie said....we are here for you.  Ok....sit back in A/C....make a pitcher of mimosas....sip, sip, sip.....all day UB (by the way...great sign)...turn on Golden Girls.....sip, sip, sip.....need some food....🥞🍳🥓🍩🍔🌮🍟🍦🍪🥧......🥂....feel better yet? or sick?🤢HA!

HAPPY Friday!  🎼 Don't Worry Be HAPPY.....🤡🙄

Hi there.....so, how is your Friday going?  Mine....no-dog-delightful....ha!  Poor Buddy getting a bad rap!  Did I tell you he went to Bark University?  Yes, he did, and graduated (maybe not first in his class though).  He just needs to mature a bit.  DH and I have decided to buy some new chew toys to have here for him when he visits.  He seems to think we are chew toys!!!

So, how are you doing, cookie?  Maybe the mimosas put you to sleep and you woke up feeling good!!  🤞 If not, time for pitcher of Strawberry Margaritas! 🤪 Repeat daily as needed!  🤣  (Next week you may be attending AA meetings ...haha!)  By the way, Queen practices without a license so take it or leave it...LOL!

No other news.....back to laundry.....should take a walk since weekend is suppose to be rainy.  See you later.

Hello ... I bet Buddy will love his new chew toys the next time you have him and maybe will be a little calmer ... so he's a graduate of Bark University?? as he matures, I bet he'll put what he learned into practice ... maybe he'll realize that you and DH are not his chew toys ... haha!!

cookie, hope you are doing better this afternoon ... great advice from our Queen, even though she's practicing without a license ... 😏😂

I was sitting on the patio taking a UB a little earlier and I could hear the crows squawking ... loud! and then I heard a baby bird crying ... loud!! and then all was quiet ... the crow had killed the baby (on our shed roof) and flew off with it ... I know it's nature, but it's still sad ...

Have a good afternoon ... and the crows are back ... I think they may be trying to build a nest or chase other birds out of the tree in the neighbors yard in the back ... noisy, noisy!!

See you later ...

Hi Ladies ~  Things are much better!  DS showed up and surprised the daylights out of me!!! Let himself in and the dogs didn't even bark!  too hot to bark I guess - it's 93 now, going up. He came out for DD's Birthday - she knew he was coming.

Spent the day with my Kindle and Kitty.  Good use of time.  Got some great advice from an unlicensed lady I know -  Strawberry Margaritas did the job - hick - hick ...😁  Won't replace Mimosas, but close.🍸🍸🍸

So sad about the little baby bird Tootie.  I know it's Nature also, but like you, it's always sad.

Yay for Buddy!!!  A graduate!  New toys!  He will be spoiled rotten in no time.

Time for a Mimosa ~

Just what you needed, cookie....surprise from DS!  Glad he came in ....kind of a gift for you and DD!  Easy does it now on the mimosas and Strawberry Margaritas! 😂 Your C of Cherries Jubilee brought back memories of my mother.  She loved to entertain and quite often would fix Cherries Jubilee after a dinner.  And, today is her birthday!  😊

Tootie, that is so sad about the baby bird. So much for your nice break outside!  I don't like the crows and, fortunately, don't have too many.  But, I do get the occasional Hawk!!  They swoop in and snatch the little birds!!  I know they have to eat too but go somewhere else...not my yard!!!  They seem to really like the doves because they are plump and slow to fly away....sigh.  Then I have a mess of feathers in my yard!

All for today so rest well everyone.....see you in the morning.

See you in the morning ...

Hello to everyone!  I thought I'd better get over here or you will think something serious happened.

Yes, DH had his appointment with the new cardiac Electrophysiology specialist. and everything went well.  DH likes his new cardiologist a lot.  He certainly has a personality whereas the one being replaced has NONE.

Doctor #2 said you would be surprised just how many people have A-Fib and a lot worse than what he has.  He went over all the tests that were taken at the ER and he was impressed.  He said everything looks good and there would be no reason for him to have to shock his heart to get it back in rhythm, as doctor #1 wanted to do.  Doctor #2 said you better be a skilled doctor that knows what he is doing if and when he wants DH shocked.  Doctor #2 said the next time he gets A-Fib there is no reason for him to go to the ER.  Laying down, resting, taking it easy will calm the heartbeat, on its own.  He wants to keep him on low dose Multaq and Xarelto and see him in 6 months.

When they were talking about Meniere's doctor #2 gave him a name of a woman ENT that specializes in Meniere's. He has an appointment with her on May 10th. and we both hope she is more informed than the others DH has seen over the past 10+ years.

@walker.... Yes, I did prepare a few Slovak dishes for Easter dinner.  Nothing like it used to be when the children were still here.

@Tootie15and @cookie5  ....Thank you for your concern about DH.  I appreciate it very much.

Good morning ~  Nice to see you MissMadi!!  Glad your DH found a more capable and caring doctor.  Good advice.  My aunt had Meniere's and I often wonder about myself - occasional balance issues. Will ask my ENT if she can recommend someone.

What nice memories of QM.  Good wishes for a wonderful lady who set a great example for her daughter.  Lots of April B'days - DD, DGS, ex DIL, DD's MIL, and FIL.

Tootie, I did get to spend some time with just my DS yesterday.  Today we are celebrating DD's Birthday and she wants to go to the Farmer's Market and enjoy the Food Trucks - they are really good!  Hope I am up to walking around that much.  At least it will only be around 78 today.  Yesterday was hot1

kittyfan ~  Hope you are well and not running yourself ragged.  It's not easy being the Queen Bee.
