Hi MissMadi ... I like your picture and I do have my windows cracked ... letting the Spring in! It is a beautiful day here too ... chilly, but nice!! pretty soon you'll be outside planting ... Xigua Salsa sounds delicious ... I've never heard of it so of course I had to look it up ... watermelon, cucumber, red onion, red bell pepper, basil, honey and lime juice ... yum!!

Hope everyone is having a good afternoon ... kittyfan?? and walker, hope you are enjoying dog sitting ... I laughed at your comment about "young dog, old doggy-day care workers" ... hahaha!!

Tootie.....breaking news....DH said tomorrow might be a good day to get the grill out!!!  Going to fire up the grill soon!

DS is on his way to pick up Buddy.  He has been really good.  Thank heavens for a nice day so we took a few walks.  Then he was out in backyard.  He is so funny....when he is hungry he starts pushing his bowl or pawing at it to get my attention.

Yay walker, your grilling season can begin too!! (whoever thought we'd be so excited to get our grills out) ... I love being able to grill ... good food and easy clean up!! .. I had too many leftovers to use up tonight so we'll grill tomorrow ... Buddy sounds like one smart dog .. he knows how to get your attention to feed him ... cute!! 🐶

Good morning ~  Here's to grilling season!!!!  It is about time for you Northern ladies.  Nothing better than food on the grill.

Cute about Buddy walker -  a buddy to walk with.  Smart pup!!  I had a cat that would bang the back screen door to let him in. Gotta love our pets 😺🐶.  Like G' kids, love and spoil them, then they go home 😄

Good morning friends ... I have nothing new to report since last night ... we will have a sunny 60 degree day ... I do have to wash my front window as a bird decided to leave its "I was here" signature ... ugh! ... that's ok though, it's another sign of Spring 🐦🌼🌷

Happy Sunny Sunday! I love checking in here in the morning to see you and have some coffee for a few minutes.  Smiling as usual.....cookie, love the reference of loving and spoiling Gkids and pets...then they go home...ha!  And, Tootie....the bird "I was here" signature on the window...haha....I'll remember that when I see those now!!

No news from me either.....but, will get the day going with breakfast.....then off to Church of the Couch! 😁

Hi friends.......quiet Sunday....restful but did take my walk...great sunny day!  😟 No grill today! I guess keyword yesterday from DH was "might" be good day to....oh well, no big deal.  I wasn't planning on grilling anyway.  But, when I am.....which will be soon if weather stays nice....I will give notice....GET THE GRILL OUT or NO DINNER!🤣

Hello ... we had a beautiful sunny 66 degree day ... windows opened and more of the same tomorrow ... we did chicken on the grill ... walker, I guess if your DH wants to eat dinner, he'll get the grill out 🤣 We had a bumblebee come and visit us on the patio this afternoon ... I guess he was looking for our flowers ... sorry bee, it's a little too early. 🐝🌷🌼

Good afternoon. Haven't checked in on a few days. Went to visit friends for train. First time since before Christmas. Chatty Kathy was on overdrive. She popped out early. We all said all thank goodness. She talked nkn stop. Had to be constantly reminded it was her turn!!!

We changed our routine date to accommodate her. We were confused by chsnge!!! Saturday met another lady for lunch. Then I headed home.

This morning slept in. Decided to skip in person services. Got a text. I guess I should appreciate being missed. But on the other hand.

We had another beautiful 66 degrees spring day yesterday.  I put all my Easter decorations outside and it looks really nice.  Today is supposed to be the same kind of day.  I love opening the windows when I can, especially after winter being all closed up.

@Tootie15.... Terrific you got vaccine #1, now that's out of the way until 4/14.  It happened quickly for me, also.  How about the ingredients in the salsa??  Quite a combination of veggies and fruit.  I've never made it and had the recipe for a long time.  If anyone makes it I hope they post whether or not they liked it.

@walker.... You're correct on "not having time to think about it maybe was a good thing."  Thank you for the kind words about Lucky.  DH is doing okay and he had an A-Fib attack again today.  It subsided after a couple of hours.  I just wish he didn't have to wait so long for an appointment. 

@cookie5.... Glad to see you, too!!  BTW DH is on Xarelto and Multaq.  Sorry to read Leo had the big C, also.  There is a little swelling on Lucky's paw but nothing like Leo had.

Guess I better say good night and head up the stairs to bed.  Have a good Monday and the rest of the week everyone.
