Good morning ~  A dreary day here yesterday as well.  Hard to do Christmas with all the dreary, sad and horrible things going on.  People are protesting the lockdowns prescribed by the governor of their state.  Some mayors are ignoring it as well. This is certainly getting to me and hard to not let it bother/worry me.  Think ahead people!  Think of others!!!!  

Sorry for rantting.

Ozzie is not eating well.  A bite at a time sometimes taking over 4 hours!  Hard to keep my little piglet (other kitty) away from his food. I have to remember that this is a small problem compared to those less fortunate and be very grateful for what I have.  Think better - Live Better! (Marc and Angel.com)

Thanks kittyfan for accepting my emails and the update on FHG.  I hope we all can get together via email as well as here.                             SCC to the rescue!

Good morning friends ... cookie, I feel your feelings and I can add to your rant (haha) ... we had "peaceful" protests here last night that really weren't so "peaceful" ... fights broke out and police from other towns had to help out ... just stop!! Do what you are supposed to and maybe things will open back up quicker ... DH and I went shopping early this morning ... everyone had masks but I became quite upset when a worker had his down around his neck!! ... ummm, really?? as I approached him, because yes, I was ticked ... another worker said something to him and he pulled it up ...

I'm so glad that you were able to get connected with kittyfan via email ... as soon as our Queen gets back we'll all be email friends as well ... I like the Think Better - Live Better ...

We will have another dreary no sun 33 degree day ... ugh!!

Hi my friends!  🇺🇸😷🎄

Home Sweet Home....I can actually rest without a dog in my lap...ha...DS family dog...loves to snuggle.  We had a good weekend as always.  Boys are such fun. We did not go anywhere but kids were out yesterday and we stayed with dog.  He is a nice dog but young and full of energy....grabs anything in sight quickly if you aren't watching.  DH was doing projects so I was official dog walker.  It got me out for fresh air anyway.

cookie, on our drive out we passed several horse farm areas and I was surprised at all the colorful horse blankets on horses.  Kind of fun...fashion for horses...I thought all of them were plain brown or black.  I saw blue, purple, green, etc. ... coincidence that you mentioned your SIL putting them on horses too.

It sounds like you have emailed kittyfan, cookie.  I will email Tootie and kittyfan tomorrow and maybe we can all connect that way.  

Tootie, weather here is dreary and blah too....guess it was good I got a change of scenery for couple days.  I am not in mood for wrapping yet either...still time.  I am going to start writing a few Christmas cards.  I almost decided not to do them this year.  I feel bad about missing church on Christmas....just don't know...reservations still required but they will open up our Parish Center for live-streaming from church so that opens up more opportunities.  But, I am thinking....are some of these people coming in from out of town?  What to do?  I go other places but pretty limited what I do.

Glad you had such a good time walker.  The official dog walker - haha. Nice to get away. Time to start decorating......

DD got out the decorations and started decorating.  She has more stuff than the stores!  Thankfully she opted for a small (4') table top tree. It is fun decorating a big tree but what goes up must come down - not as fun when you have to take it down.  We do miss the large trees though. 

I am angry👿 at DirecTV!  They took away our ABC 👿 and  Dish took away NBC and affilliates!!!  Wonder who/what is next!   Another grab at raising prices I guess. Will they blame it on COVID?  👿

Tootie, I overheard that there were some "peaceful" protesters that weren't so peaceful  around these parts.  So sad and such a waste of energy that could be put to good use.  BTW, GREAT V.

cookie, I like the smaller trees too ... I did have one of those smaller alpine ones for a few years but it didn't weather very good and we got rid of it ... we have a 7 ft. but thinner one that we bought from the Q a couple of years ago ... I like this one too! ... and I agree with the taking things down ... ugh!! ... oh no! they actually took away the channels ... I see that notice (that some people may loose channels) across the top of our TV screen once and a while but never really thought they took channels away ...

We're in for a chilly 32 degree day with snow flurries ...

Hopping back on ... I forgot to mention about Christmas Mass ... my church is not even having weekend Masses now, not sure what they will do for Christmas. Some of the other parishes around here still do (but limited.) Most have added a 2pm afternoon Mass as well, which was always taught that a 2pm Mass didn't count for your Sunday obligation (I guess Covid has changed things) One parish is distributing color coded tickets for the Mass that you plan on attending for Christmas so they don't get an overflow ... we are not going to go but will watch on TV.

Happy Monday!  Pearl Harbor Day....amazing some veterans are still alive from that to talk about it.  I just read an article about a 101 year old veteran sharing his memories...wow....101....sharp and able to talk about it!  
We visited Pearl Harbor on a trip to Hawaii....that was so impressive....what a feeling to stand on the memorial!

cookie, I would be mad too about losing channels....why take away the main channels like ABC, NBC?  Less viewership ....going to other cable channels...hmmm.

I need to get some breakfast and be on with day...laundry plus some online shopping to do...AND...get an email test off to Tootie and kittyfan.  I will post a message here when I do it.

Hi there......I just sent email to Tootie and kittyfan....hope you get it.....then kittyfan can connect us to cookie too.

I also did some shopping for my 3A's.....click, click, place order....send....done!  My kind of shopping!  I sure remember days gone by when I would be out a lot in December shopping....in and out of stores and malls....bringing home bags of stuff.....taking my inventory and out for more...ha!  That's the way it was and this is the way it is now!

👏👏 WE ARE ALMOST THERE!  We just need to link up with cookie.  We won't have to worry about what we say and go POOF by Q.  In fairness to Q, I suppose they are protecting our privacy regarding emails...???  Not to worry anymore.....on our own now! 

I just looked at my calendar....Christmas is two weeks from Friday....yikes!!!  Now I am trying to coordinate with kids on how to get together...plus DH has a birthday before Christmas.  

Tootie, how are plans there and LG's birthday too?
