Good morning ~  walker, kittyfan picked out a perfect cake!!!  Love German Chocolate cake!  Now, let's hope Chef creates a mountain of deliciousness.  

Inviting cousin Eddie is up for grabs.  He would certainly make the day entertaining!  However I don't think the HOA would allow him to park his "residence" anywhere near the Court.  

Got an A-OK from the eye doc yesterday and don't have to go back for 9 months!  When I got home, guess who came galloping over to the drive with a big smile?  That dog has no clue!!!  

kittyfan hope your day runs smoothy and is relaxing and calm. We will have another pretty day - 88 today.

walker, glad you were able to get your walk in .. we haven't been on a bike ride in a couple days ... the weather just hasn't cooperated ...

Since cookie and kittyfan both like German Chocolate Cake, I guess our Chef will have to whip up a double decker cake for our celebration ... maybe if Cousin Eddie promises to park his "residence" at the nearby dump and promises to behave, we can invite him. But knowing Eddie, I'm not sure that is possible, he thinks his "residence" is a Mansion!

We'll have a rainy and very windy day ... high of 65.

Oh, what a beautiful day!  Bright sunshine really made the colorful trees "pop"....some are just changing...took a walk and was so "in awe" of the beauty of the season.  Love it!

Started switching out summer clothes for Fall.  I have a few things ready for Goodwill.  I can't get over how little I wore most of my clothes this year since being home so much.   Probably means I have too much....definitely too many shoes....I am a shoe-a-holic!  Ha! 

kittyfan, glad you took a day to yourself!  Ugh..⏰...thanks for reminder we have that time change coming up before long.  Joy, joy!  Whatcha gonna do? 🤷‍♀️

Good morning ~  Well - another day older but who's counting? Family celebration on the weekend.  I requested SIL's grilled burgers withJalapeno cheese and fresh bakery buns and .  Love them!  Good grilling weather - 88- 90.  

I have a sneaky suspicion that BFF is flying out for the weekend to surprise me.  Not a fan of surprise visits - just tell me your coming please.  She loves surprises so I am the lucky recipient.  I am very grateful for her and love her to pieces.  We have been friends for 68 years!

I'm with you Tootie, no "mansions" on the Court. Love Cousin Eddie, but not his vehicles.

Happy Birthday to your son walker!  He has a great Birthday!  Your weather sounds fantastic too.

Tootie, I laughed when you said you opened a drawer and closed it again...ha!  I do that too.  I have a couple pairs of shoes I rarely wear.  Every year I pull them out to donate only to end up putting them back saying to myself..if I don't wear these next year, they go....sure, sure...still on shelf.  

Oh, recently we chatted about Vitamin D ... I was at store yesterday and planned to pick some up... sure enough...gone....very little on shelf.

My neighbor has a German Shepard. Posted on FB she had torn ACL. This is I think the third surgery. Yikes. I rarely see her out and about. She used to run to the fence when I drove up.

Good morning ~  Thank you ladies for the Birthday wishes!  Cute picture Tootie! Had a very quiet day - perfect!  I guess my BFF finally fooled me!  We are celebrating tonight with SIL burgers - yum! and G'kids so we'll see.  Speaking of SIL, he sang Happy Birthday to me last night - he has a nice voice and it was a lovely gift.  

The switching out of clothes is so funny but  true.  I put things in a bag/box and then pull them out again for "one more wearing"  Not hard because my wardrobe consists of mostly Spring and Summer type clothes. 

Manicure and pedicure this morning and then will take a long Birthday UB resting up for SIL's awesome burgers.  He couldn't believe I didn't want steak but hamburgers are one of my favorite things - especiallly with red onions and Jalapeno cheese!  Looking forward to spending time with the G'kids too. Today I will be
