Hi friends.....hope you have had a good day....."Day of Rest"...ha...what is that anymore?  One day is like the next. Went to Mass and then for a walk.  So far I have not lost my seat for church...HA!!  How about you, Tootie?  

I finished the Book Woman book....good...and now reading Recipe for a Perfect Wife (😳🤣...seriously?).....anyway...new book...due tomorrow...no renewal so have had to speed read this weekend.  Also good book...interesting...weaving lives of wife in 50's with one 2018.  Very different lifestyles.

So, with that in mind, need to finish few more chapters tonight.

See you tomorrow.  kittyfan, sure hope you have rest fromTS this week.  Why do people "volunteer" if they can't have a pleasant attitude?  Takes all kinds!!!  (And you seem to have them there.)

Yay walker, you finished The Book Woman!!!  I am reading The French Wife - what's with the wife stuff??  Thanks to Kindle Unltd, I have tons of free reads ( there is a $120.00 yr. fee to join) Let us know if there really is/was a perfect wife haha - just like the perfect husband???

Sorry about your day kittyfan.  At least you got a great meal - love meatloaf!  We should have a cold front today - 96!!!  We'll see.  Heat just enervates me.

.....😂😂😂.....funny, cookie!!  Thanks for sharing that with us....... "Mimosas R Us"....we "resemble" it...😂...good laugh to start the day.

I did finish the Recipe for Perfect Wife book....pretty fast and easy read.....basically, message was "Who Am I?".....instead of trying to be perfect for someone else....never happens because no one is perfect!  Interesting, somewhat mysterious book... It did make me look back at 50's....which, for me, was a wonderful time because I had a good, loving, home.  Women were home baking, gardening, etc, going to Tupperware parties...HA....I remember those in 70's/80's  when I was young wife too.

Tootie, hope you are not having many problems with palpitations.  Sounds like you have a good doctor who is easy to communicate with.

Good morning ~  Up early with the Frogs.  They sure love the dogs water bowls.  DD put one out on the front patio/porch just for them.  They have used it twice that I know of.  They sure love her potted plants.  

DD has a friend/client that has triplets - 2 identical and one fraternal.  Never heard of that before but know it is possible.  She cut their hair yesterday and bartered for several great masks. Her friend is an excellent seamstress and it showed. DD is her father's daughter - he was a barterer as well. Whatever makes you happy...........

I think I will spend the day at SCC Court - living La Vida Loca!  Friends, coffee, Mimosas, Swimminng and UB's.  What's not to love?  Another triple digit day for us.  As kittyfan called it - Hot and Hotter.

Good morning friends ... cute story about your DD being a barterer ... sounds like a good deal especially because she needs her masks!! ... I wish I could have made up some masks myself (there is some really nice material out there) ... (years ago I took sewing lessons and made a skirt but I really didn't enjoy it!) ... so DD ordered some masks from Vera Bradley for us ...

The crows are out in the street "squawking" ... it looks like someone dumped a bag of popcorn or chips and they are feasting on it ... of course, they are all trying to get the same piece and are fighting over it ...

We'll have a 76 degree day ... sorry cookie and kittyfan, but I think our Fall weather is moving in ... we are 56 right now ... try to stay cool!! ... walker, I noticed a lot of the trees around here are dropping their leaves ... no color change though ... I wonder if it's because we had such a hot and dry summer?? ... anything by you??

Happy Tuesday!  And, happy it is on the SCC Court...you have it right, cookie.  We set our chairs out ...social distancing...and let the world go by.....☕️🍹🏊‍♀️😴....sounds good to me....see you there.

cookie, cute story about your DD and bartering for masks.  If we have to wear these masks, may as well have some nice ones.  I think that will be #1 gift at Christmas...new masks...ha!  I have a Vera Bradley one too, Tootie.  

Interesting about those triplets, cookie......our 3A's are like that too....two identical and one fraternal....I can tell the two identical apart now...and personalities are interesting....two identical are like DIL and her side...fraternal.."tis himself"...is definitely like DS and DH.  Great kids!  

Tootie, we have leaves falling too....very dry!!!  Of course, DH is out watering his lawn to make sure it stays green...ha!

walker, laughing at your DH and his green lawn ... mine has had the sprinkler going and does the lawn in sections ... and for the corners that "don't get water" he has a different, smaller one to get those spots!! hahaha!! they are so much alike!!

As I write, he is hand-sprinkling/watering the areas out front that sprinkler can't get to...HA!!

Oh my 56. That would have us looking for jackets!

Went to TS yesterday. Only visit this week. Lots of donations came in. It just keeps coming! If we could just get volunteers. Susan and i are partners. She had to be out on Wednesday but we were just short handed been if she had been there. We walked out together at 4. Everyone else long gone. I actually prefer the quiet. We simply don't have any volunteers to pull from. Her church is very small. Mine is larger but not many people willing to help. Others pitch in to help. Our financial person is there mist days. She does taxes so she is available. When tax season comes she is busy.


Will be playing train with friends. Will take a cheesecake we gather and eat a lite lunch. Play a few rounds and then dessert.

Had a conversation with lady from church about ladies group. Iwe haven't met since March. I would be okay with disbanding we are such a little group but I will help. Hard to be enthusiastic. Same few folks Fing work sounds likevTS!!!
