Our rainy day yesterday turned into a sunny evening and we were able to get a bike ride in ...

wow cookie!! Perry Pelican looks like he is going to be quite the ride for you ... with his long beak, no one better get in his way!!

Our schools here are still trying to figure out what to do ... classroom? virtual? or a little of both?? ... I hope all goes well with the Amigos starting in the classroom ...

We will have a much cooler day ... high of 75! windows opened!!  I think I'll hop on the Polar Bear ... he likes the cool weather!! round and round and round we go ...

Okay Tootie, here is your ride.  Preston Polar Bear.  One thing about him is he gets cold easily and sleeps in his den with an electric blanket (passed down from his late mother with a sweet little note not to get it wet)  He also loves Blueberry Mimosas, so do your magic!  

Enjoy the ride.  Hopefully he emits cold body heat so we will be cool.  He is a sweet one he is.

I am getting to used to this "move at your own pace" lifestyle!  Enjoyed my coffee, paper and now my friends here!  You, of course, make me smile!!!  

cookie, how cute that you also have tablecloth and napkins from your gma...with NOTE too!!!  "Use it now" is funny!  It was a different  lifestyle years ago....more formal....always nice.....gave us so many good memories.  I really need to start writing a few notes now....ha!

Tootie, I think it is so great that you and DH are able to enjoy those bike rides.  Relaxing isn't it?  

Well, if I don't get a move on it, I'll miss my MGR Mimosa Time...joining Perry and Preston ....hmmm.....Porky 🐖 Pig!  Oink....Oink.....he is such a ham!  😳😂 ....I better get some breakfast.....brain needs food!

Porky Pig at your request walker!  He is Patty Pigs cousin on her mother's side.  He is an unusual pig and loves his sauna mud baths.  It keeps his beautiful coloring intact.  He is ready for a Mimosa or five.....

I am sure he will behave as he doesn't plan on being someone's holiday dinner................

Hi everyone.....how are you doing out there?  All good with me...countdown to guys return tomorrow.  I think they have finished most of their planned stops.  So, ready or not, here they come.....ha!  I am sure at this point they are all ready to get home too.

Today I made another trip with donations....went to St. Vincent DePaul this time...spread things around.  Then I went to store to pick up food for DH's return.....rib eyes for grill....welcome home...yum! 

cookie, glad you found Porky. Cute guy!  I think Porky's parents were messing with some milk cows.....that way Porky is camafloged and doesn't have to worry about ending up on a platter....🤣!

Good morning ~  walker, you are sure busy distributing your donations.  I wonder how all tthese places sanitize and disinfect so many things. 

I'll bet you are anxious for your gang to return.  All the exciting things they were able to do will make for some great get together time.

I read that the PO is slowing down on purpose so it surprised me when I went to mail a small flat box weighing no more than 8 ozs, and the cheapest way was $10.91 and First Class!!!! What in the world???? I have been uner a rock - a big one!

Time for the MGR - I think I will hop on Gary Goat.  walker, bring any clothing donations as he loves to eat sweaters, coats, skirts, pants, etc.  No more big bags in the basement.

Gary has been on MGR's in many cities and is always on demand.  He was happy to take a break from his busy schedule to join SCC ladies. He is also available for lawn "mowing" haha

Good morning friends ... hahaha! cookie, I'm picturing Gary going through bags of donations and pulling out what he wants to eat ... I heard about the Post Master (or whatever his title is) slowing down the delivery of mail but I haven't had to mail a package in a while ... but yikes!!

walker, what a nice welcome home dinner you will have!! ... and I bet the Amigos will be so full of chatter and excitement when they get home ... what a fun, memory filled trip for them!! ... I heard that the Catholic schools here are going back to 5 day in school ... and now they have a mad rush of parents that want their kids in school full time that are enrolling ... I don't know what I would do and am glad I don't have to make that decision ... LG is doing very well in daycare, he seems to enjoy it! they really keep them on the go and he always takes a long nap when they get him home.

kittyfan, hope you are doing well and keeping the TS under control ...

We'll have another 73 degree day ... 58 degrees now! ... I since we're off to a chilly start, I think I'll ride on Penny Penguin ... round and round and round we go!

Good choice Tootie!  Penny is Percival's cousin and happy to ride the MGR.  She does love her Mimosas and will surely love yours!  She has been wanting to go on the MGR ever since Percival told her about it.  He has been bragging all this time about how great those crazy ladies are and Penny is ready ~

She can't stay long, she has her Square Dancing lesson at 2PM in Oklahoma.  She is learning all kinds of dances and seeing many states as well.

Happy Thursday!  Laughing already at Gary Goat being on our lawn when DH arrives home later.  🤣 ....I just thought he could help out, dear...🤣.

This morning I will do some quick cleaning/touch up and bake cookies.  Also, need to do my laundry before DH walks in with 10 days worth of his.  This will be like a kid coming home from college with bag of laundry....ha!

The postal charges have been getting more expensive  for awhile...that cost is ridiculous for 8 oz. box, cookie.  I really think they can cut back on delivery....half the time I get one or two pieces of junk mail.  They have talked about no Saturday delivery....so, do it.  

Tootie, glad LG is doing fine at daycare.  He must be growing and changing rapidly.  

Well, garbage day here so I better get ours out to the curb.  Then I will be off to MGR for awhile hopping on ..... Mikey 🐒 Monkey...pass the mimosas and peanuts!
