Good morning ~  Nice to hear the Cafe is able to be open for inside service kittyfan.  I agree it is way too hot to wilt outside while trying to eat.  Hope you enjoyed your meal.

walker, thanks for the memory - too bad, so sad!  I haven't heard this in years.  Made me smile.  How do they play games in the heat is beyond me.  Did they have to wear a mask to play?  

Tootie, we are all standing behind you and your stress test.  You will pass with flying colors!  Laughing about the 5 minutes feeling like 10.  So true.  Portable Fans/AC's would be geat don't you think.  Another great idea by our esteemed Queen.

Had the house to myself yesterday, DD and SIL went to friends and rode those things (scooby doo?)  that look like a ATV on the water.  Very nice here all by myself and 7 dogs.

Perrcival Penguin.  He may be a short ride due to the heat, but I will bring ice for him as well as our Mimosas.  Wonder if he likes them as well as Betty?  Ready to go round and round and of course Tootie's great Mimosas!!

Thanks for the confidence on the treadmill ... I think I worry too much (about nothing!) ... I just picture myself (when they crank it up) in one of those cartoons where the person falls and ends up against the wall ... hahaha!!

We're having a cool 66 degree morning with a nice breeze ... our high for today is 78!!

Another open window day here.....sorry my TX friends! But, tomorrow A/C will be back on....heat and humidity returns.

cookie, the soccer team did not wear masks.  They did stay separated on sideline and when game was over everyone left quickly.  Families on sidelines separated.  

Life today....☹️...I think we are trying to do our best to follow guidelines.  How long do we live with the fear of this virus?  DS wants to take his boys on a little car travel adventure (DD has to be back to school).  Family does not want him to travel.  I understand...but, might be workable ....up in air.  Then DS in FL called to say he found cheap airline tickets to come up here at Thanksgiving.  Should he do it?  Do I pass on family being together because of fear?  Is it stupid to come?  Or do we carefully try to go forward?  Mama Mia!!  Calgon....and Mimosas take me away!!!

Worry about unknown...in this case the treadmill...is so normal, Tootie.  Me too!  I forgot to say, although I had to wear a mask, they said I could lower it from my nose for test.  I laugh at your comparison to a cartoon...sounds like a Lucy episode! HA!  

Well, time to have breakfast and join Jack and Perrcival on MGR.

Hello ... we are in the midst of a downpour!! I sure got my exercise running to close windows ... along with the wind, the rain was coming in every direction ...

walker, I understand the frustration about trying to be with family or not ... vacation or not? ... flying home or not?? ... I wish this darn virus would just go away ... it's kind of scary and sad that we have to live in fear ... while I know we are all cautious, there are many that aren't ... I hope your family can come up with a happy solution ... I know in NY if you come from Florida (and several other states) you have to quarantine for 14 days while you're here ...

Good morning ~  Wow Tootie!  A windy downpour and a race all in one.  Sooo,  how much weight do you think you lost runing around?  Great new exercise - another Tootie invention!

I agree about quarantining visitors from other states.  but why don't they stay home in the first place?  Too scary to think of.  Not necessarily the family you would be seeing but all the stuff involved in getting there.  New germs, etc.  Where is the Wizard when you need him???  Wanda Wand?

Another triple digit day for us - hopefully it will be getting cooler throughout the week.  We made it to 109 yesterday!  kittyfan - are you cooked yet? 

I finally got my hair cut!  It was really long overdue, so I am a lot cooler on my neck.  MGR time.  I think I shall ride Delilah Duck today ~

She is a long lost relative of Jemina Puddle Duck and proud of it!  Jumping on and grabbing one of Tootie's finest - Mimosa.

Good morning friends ... haha!! cookie, if only the weight would come off running to shut windows ... I had to continue my relay race and open windows when the rain the done!! ... glad you were able to get your hair cut ...

I still haven't mine cut and the girl that does DH/DS said that she would cut mine! She's actually a barber (she has a shop setup in the salon where we used to go) but since I wear my hair short she can do it ... I just haven't set up an appointment yet.

How cute Delilah is ... I spotted Pepe Le Pew next to her ... I think I'll ride him today (we're immune to his scent but others, not so much!!) ... round and round and round we go.

cookie and kittyfan, I thought of you both as I looked at weather map in paper today....TX is dark red....HOT, HOT!  Picture hasn't changed either in several days.  Guess I should not complain about 90....but, I probably will...haha.  Tootie, visualizing you running around to close...then open windows....funny....been there too! 

This is my haircut week also on Friday.  I saw my DIL yesterday and she said....."I like your hair...looks good"....really??  I told her I was thinking of getting it cut shorter Friday.   It grows so fast.  Funny how we see ourselves and are self-critical (me anyway).....last week when I was getting treadmill test...the tech setting me up said she had to look at my age (72) twice.....saying...."you don't look it"....SAY THAT AGAIN PLEASE!!!  Haha!   She must have been trying to get me to relax!  😂😂

I saw Pepe Le Pew too, Tootie, right by Delilah Duck.....think I'll take Polly 🦚 Peacock....ride ahead....spread my feathers and block any Eau De Stinko Parfume.....🤣🤣.....sorry.....off we go....

Hello ~  Pepe Le Pew was not cooperating!  He did not want to be around crazy ladies without his defense mechanism in his hind end!  Until I can capture him, we have no photo, just our imagination. 

walker, I found the perfect Peacock other than the one on the pole - just for your royalness

A Peacock Chariot - there is a chest under the seat with ice, glasses and a place for G'mas Meds!!!  The tail can be used for a cooling fan as well.  Perfect for a Queen!!!

It is nice to be told you don't look your age. Considering your mebership in SCC, you probably don't act it either - hahaha   I have 5 years on you and still get a nice comment once in a while.  Maybe because I have very little gray and am still chestnut brown?  Who cares it feels good that someone appreciates us!
