Well, fell asleep watching TV....now guess I can turn OFF lights,,...thinking no one will  be on late.......oh well....if so....turn them back on yourself......lol....night light on.

Tootie, I think computer gremlins like to"test" Queen.  But, I am  such a tough old bird...lol!  They don't beat me but, just frustrate the bleeeeep out of me!

The boys are split....two in one class and one in the other.  They switch each year.  At least two have same homework which helps with test reviews, etc.  They always have spelling reviews  on Thursday for Friday test.  So, I have to separately test each of them even though they do it daily.   DIL came home early.....can you spell RELIEF!!!?  Great guys though!

Well......time for Queen to get her beauty sleep ....NIGHT ALL... Peace.....Rest!  💤💤💤💤

Good morninng ~  walker, sorry about the board problems.  I haven't had any for a while either.  Hmmm, Could it be as Tootie said and they are retaliating preparing for the big one?

Sounds like the three amigos in different classes would make it confusing with homework, etc.  Better you than me.  I can do up to 6th grade, then I'm out - everything is very different now.  

Going to get the works today:  manicure,pedicure, waxing, and - drum roll - finally get a haircut!  I am going to be so pumped!  It should only be 79 and humid with some rain today.  Looking forward to BAT.  Passing the coffee ~

We are at a cool 45 degrees now and our high for today is 63 with rain ....

Scarecrow making BAT is tomorrow ... we will meet here for breakfast and then head over to the Festival ... I read that they have a parade to "show off" our scarecrows ... should be fun!! ...walker, can we jet over in GGQA?

Not so Merry Maid--/that would be me.

Yesterday was busy---started off at grocery. Found my items. Got in long express line. First Lady wrote check. Had to do another. Next lady didn't speak much English. Trying to use coupon. Finally my turn. Off to pick up aprons for thrift store. Have been there before--no bell on door. Well the shop dog a big black lab ambled over. I thought he would bark to alert but he didn't. I knew she had adopted this dog when his master went to assisted living. Just a big sweetie. Well I waited a bit--finally spotted my order--I had said I would pick up on Wednesfay--invoice in bag. Wrote a check--left on her desk and went on to church. Dropped her an email to alert her to my payment. Got ready for our game day lunch. Usual group of ladies. We had a lovely time. I am the youngest by a few years but we were talking about growing up. Lots of laughs. Then a few spirited rounds of Mexicsn Train. Cleaned up kitchen. Then I went into church to take care of my duties. Filled candles and changed par aments. Left everything ready for Dunday. Didn't want to have to go back in. Home and realized I was really tired. This morning woke up to two days of no commitments. Next week will be crazy. I needed some bake sale items. So I decided to support a local. I couldn't make it for the price she quoted me. Plus my time--I do enjoy baking at my leisure. Next week is no leisure.

Came home last night in rain. Woke up in rain. Bit cooler today.

It is thundering and lightening and pouring down buckets right now ... the weatherman was right about the heavy rain we would get ...

yay!! kittyfan, you get a few days of much needed UB's ... you can join us tomorrow for our Scarecrow Making BAT Parade ... doesn't it make you mad waiting in the "express" lane ... express means no waiting for people to fumble around for checks or coupons .... ugh!!

Hi everyone......from hot to chilly-chilly....cloudy too so that does not help....definitely a Fall day!  But, at least no rain like you have, Tootie.  We need it though.

Finished my chores and went to DD's house to check my IPad.  It appears I had a bad cord.  So, DD gave me an extra of hers.  Now it is charging much faster.  GD is home with Strep Throat....tis the season, I guess....back to school and the bugs start circulating.  AS DD says though...strep is an easy one....off to Doctor...get a prescription and kids bounce back quick.

Kittyfan, isn't it nice....once in awhile....to have no commitments...clear calendar?  Good to be active like you are but I like my "nothing" days too.
