Hi there Tootie...and everyone else.....no news from me...quiet Sunday which equals UB time!!! Day of "rest" which I said earlier.  Just finished dinner...watching football....Go Carolina and am happy Broncos won other game.....football fan here!  I love to yell at TV and cheer from here!

Good morning ~  Spent a quiet, peaceful Sunday- read most of the day.  Back to normal today.  We are going to be blessed with 73 today!!!  Of course, it will be 57 tomorrow.  TX weather is wierd.  Saw pictures of the storm and 40" of snow????  Glad for wierd weather, I am.  I will be on my ESM today and taking several UB's.  Have a great day all ~

Oh yes our Yx weather!! Heading out to do Baille workshop. Catch ladies in the nrxt town and then we carpool to another town. W
E chat while we work but no breaks or food!!!

Finished my week at the thrust store. Was so tired I fell asleep in the chair when I got home. Got up to go to bed. It was a good week but exhausting. Yesterday I went to church. Joined an older lady at DQ for a burger and then attended s matinee I was supposed to meet a friend but she cancelled last minute. It is a tiny venue. I think 50 seats. About half full. Great fun. Then home Went to bed early.

We will have a sunny and mild day ... high of 40!! ... For some reason, when the sun is out, it makes it a whole lot easier to get my catch-up Monday things done!!

Good Morning Friends!

Happy Monday!  Hope this is a good week for everyone.  Weather here will be pretty mild......30's to 40's....good for us.  And, sun sure helps the energy level, Tootie! ☀️ It warms up the house too.

Bigkat, do you get a lot of cloudy days?  It seems the west side of MI does.☁️☁️☁️

Kittyfan.....you were the busy one...take a long UB today!  Being busy keeps you out of trouble, right?  😀

Walker, we do get more ☁ clouds on the west side than the east side. Had some sunny days lately though. I need to make some soup, didn't get to do it over the weekend...maybe tomorrow! I think we should all take QA. down to cookie's for a bbq, yumm!! (and for a u.b.)

Hello .... I have a recipe for Spinach Soup if anyone is interested ....

1/4 cup Onion - chopped

1/2 clove Garlic - chopped

1 Tbl. Butter

1 can (48/49oz) Chicken Broth

1/2 cup Acini di Pepe Pasta - uncooked

1/4 tsp. Nutmeg - (optional)

1/8 tsp. Pepper

1 pkg. Frozen Chopped Spinach - thawed

Grated Parmesan Cheese - (optional)

Cook onions and garlic in butter until tender.

Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Add pasta, nutmeg and pepper.

Simmer 5 minutes.

Add spinach and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Season to taste with salt, if desired.

Sprinkle with cheese.

I usually like creamed soups/chowders, but this one is pretty good!!

Good morning ~  Tootie, your soup sounds delicious!  I love all the ingredients.  DD went to pick up her prescription yesterday using the wonderful insurance she was forced to buy and it was $73.00.  She asked the pharmacist what it would be with their program - $6.73.  Who is making money here????  HEB (huge chain and pretty much the only grocery store - TX only) has a program that anyone can sign up for and receive these same benefits. Makes me glad I have Medicare and can have a PPO.  End of rant.  

Yesterday's UB's turned into a HLP.  The minute the sun hit my back, I was out.  Now I know why cats sleep in the sunny areas.  Have a great day all.

Good morning!! ... wow cookie, that's a huge difference for your DD's script!! ... "someone" is raking in the dough!! that stinks!!

Glad that you enjoyed your HLP in the sun ... we are going to have a rainy and warm"er" day ... yes, rainy day in January??!! with a high of 44 degrees ....

Errands this morning then home for UB's ... unfortunately, I won't be able to enjoy the sun ....
