Hi everyone!

It's bright and sunny out, and warming up - supposed to hit 50°. I'm not going anywhere; I succuumed to temptation yesterday and instead of finishing my paper, I finished the book I'd been reading because I couldn't wait to find out what happened. Sooo....boring day for me!

Good morning ~ Thank you for the great breakfast Tootie. I especially enjoyed the happy juice! So much so, that I took one of walker's UB/power naps most of the day. Another one who has never had parsnips. My son tells me they are similar to carrots - wait, maybe that was turnips. Either way I have had neither one. We reached a high of 34 yesterday. My car was covered with sheets of ice which was actually very pretty from the inside. PITA though. Thank goodness for G'sons!!! DST is March 8th this year. Isn't it getting earlier every year? Does that mean Spring is closer? Stay warm

Good Morning Friends! We made it to March...hooray! Each day we are closer to Spring and warmer temperatures! I can't wait to fire up the grill again.....or should I say have DH fire it up! Cookie.....your weather is unbelievable for the area! At least you will thaw out quicker than we will......OH...forgot to say I am fixing your chicken tonight, cookie. Last night I fixed the Cranberry Meatball recipe listed here too....very good. Tootie, did you have a fun family pizza/game night? Time for breakfast and church. Happy Sunday everyone! Hello ... I forgot about DST being next week, but have noticed that it is staying light a lot longer these days ... we did have a great time at game night ... DM gets a little overwhelmed (to quote her) "you are so loud" ... referring to one teenage and three young adult grandchildren ... we know it is because she is older, because we really try to tone it down, but she still has a good time ... I got carried away reading the paper, so now it is time for breakfast ... church later on ...

Hi friends.....Tootie, laughed at DM's comment from game night....older you get less confusion/noise you can take.....but, family time is worth it. Cookie....fixed the chicken tonight...we liked it.....unfortunately I got a phone call about time I was pulling dinner together...had to take it. Turned off oven but left it too long...oh well. Long story short, I think chicken was over-cooked but DH kept saying..this is good! I will fix again....and not answer the phone. W......Water w/lemon slice....refreshing....NEXT...X
