Hello .... bigkat, your post looks fine ... we had blowing snow most of the afternoon ... it has let up for now, but we are supposed to get more wind and more snow (a lot, according to the weatherman) just in time for the morning rush hour!! ... looks like you get to sleep in bigkat ... ... I've never seen a cardinal around here in the winter time ... they are so pretty and I bet they look beautiful against the snow too!! ... FHG, glad your pipes didn't burst, what a mess you would have!! ...

Good morning ... aaaaaah!! we are at 13 degrees and we got our snow ... 10 inches of snow. DH and I went out very early in the cold and blowing snow and got the driveway and the cars cleared ... no plows in site (I think it has something to do with the visibility, hard to see even across the street) ... when they do come, ugh!! more heavy snow to shovel!! (wish I could operate the snowblower!!) So needless to say, I have more UB's today ... yay!!

Good morning all ~ We are at a toasty 35! Going for a high of 39. After 4 years here, I guess I am starting to feel the cold weather. At least there is no snow to shovel, just love gifts from the animals. bigkat, I have only seen a cardinal once. Beautiful birds. Glad you are able to have your pipes fixed FHG. It is no fun being cold! Tootie, I'm with you - UB's today!!!!

Good Morning Friends! Happy Friday to all! Tootie, wow, a lot of snow for you there! Be careful with the shovel. I just read a tip to spray your shovel with non-stick spray and snow just slides right off quickly. The worst part is end of driveways where it gets piled up from plows! We are at 5 degrees and some schools are open. I have been in for three days. I am ready to bundle up and break out. I have a hair cut appointment and need some groceries. Bye for now everyone.....oh, Cookie....I do have two aprons but they are kind of cute ones....full length type.....but, I only wear when really doing something messy. Good morning! I don't even know what the temp is, I know it went up and was going down again. We had about 8 more inches in the driveway and it still is coming down. Warm up on Sunday, high 20's and no more snow!

I look at cute aprons and think I need one of those, but never buy one. I do have a few basic ones that the kids drag out once in a while when they think they are going to work in the kitchen. They probably have been used more for play than actual work!

I don't know what day/month it is any more!!!

Well the plows finally came ... and walker, you are right! the snow at the end of the driveway is super heavy ... big chunks of ice snow ... no way am I shoveling that! ...

cookie, I have a bakers apron that I wear when I'm making something messy too! ... my kids "decorated" one for DH when they were very young ... depending on what he is making he will wear it, he loves to bake!

Kathy, I agree, we need to go somewhere warm ...

bigkat, sounds like you are getting hit with snow ... we have beautiful sunshine now, but the snow is supposed to be back at dinnertime ....

Hi everyone! Two more days before the weather warms up again - I can't wait! I love all the seasons except for winter; maybe a week of snow and cold weather once a year would be good, though, so we'd appreciate the other seasons more. Oh, I love cardinals - I see them every so often when they come to my bird feeder. God sure does beautiful work, doesn't He?
