Hi! Good morning. We are -2 right now and to be 0 by noon. More snow on the way!

walker, how about a fire pit on ours to stay warm. cookie5, what wonderful memories to have! DIRECTTV is in a dispute with our local NBC station. grr We loose it on January 1st. DH is not thrilled that we will be on tv again!!! He just hopes we stay out of trouble.

I agree with you all, the week between Christmas and New Year's just feels off for some reason. We will take down the inside stuff today, do the outside by the end of the week. We will be warmer. I feel a very long, long UB with my NOOK coming today. grin Everyone stay warm and safe. Kathy

Hello friends ... Kathy, I love the idea of a fire pit on our float ... I don't think I have ever seen that ... it will be a first! ... tell your DH to have faith in us, we won't get/or cause any trouble {#emotions_dlg.devil2} ... we just want to have fun!! {#emotions_dlg.blushing} ... walker, I think my least favorite holiday is New Years ... time going by (too fast), getting another year older ... aahhhhh!! but this year, we welcome it in with our tumbling .....

Kathy, stay warm (boy are you really, really cold) and enjoy your reading!! I'm not a big fan of eggnog, but love chocolate, add to that some rum .... and YUM!! I think I will like your drink!! (probably won't notice the eggnog!!)

F ~ Fun, fun, fun with friends ....

Hi! Good evening. We are to be -19 tonight and into early morning. Sigh, I know spring is right around the corner when I see the Q selling plants. However, our last frost can be as late a Memorial Day! I need to get back on my treadmill and quit reading. grin

Hope everyone stays safe and warm tonight. Kathy

Good morning ~ Kathy, are you considered frozen? Wow, that is cold. As kittyfan said, we are expecting an arctic blast, but compared to what you are dealing with, ours will be a balmy breeze. A fire pit sounds fantastic! bigkat? bigkat? this is your area of expertise. walker, you gave me an idea. You will be Queen (of course) and we can all be your princesses on our very own float. Anyone have any special plans for tonight? As usual, I am staying in - nice and warm with a good book and one of Kathy's special drinks.

Good Morning Friends! Happy New Year's Eve! Have a restful, delicious (includes liquid delicious) end to 2014. No big plans for us tonight......been to enough of the big parties over the years....reached the age where I prefer small and cozy gatherings with family or good friends. I like waking up on New Year's Day feeling good because I did not party the night away. Celebrating SIL's birthday early then having a fondue dinner here...party of 2 tonight. THEN up early to jet off and get on our float tomorrow.....practice "the WAVE". See you later. J.........Juicy Fruits...anyone remember those?.......NEXT........K

Good morning cookie and all .... brrrr, Kathy, you are cold!! ... we are expecting a storm bringing lots of snow this afternoon into tomorrow night ... just in time for the New Years crowd ... I don't go out anymore ... just hang out at home and watch the ball drop on TV ... (of course, with one of Kathy's drinks!!) ... can't wait to see what our float ends up looking like ....

Good Morning and Happy New Year's Eve!!! I made it back on! DH went back to work yesterday and I couldn't get on the computer.

I hear ya walker with the "let down", all the preparations and then it comes and goes by so fast!

We have no major plan tonight. We are having our last Christmas party at our house tomorrow for my side of the family. So I need to get the kids moving today and help get the house in shape! (we'll see!!)

It has been cold here this week, 20's and a little dusting on snow this morning, otherwise it has been dry.

I have a fire pit in the back yard, so I can do a good one!

Hi! Good morning. We are a cold, cold frosty winter wonderland today. Supposed to reach a high of middle 20s??? Warming up nicely by the weekend!

bigkat, good luck on getting the boys help! grin Have a great time with your family. We really won't see anyone now until about Easter. My oldest gniece got picked for basketball, she was the only fourth grader last year!

We used to party big with our BONCO group for New Year's Eve. Not at all now. When it is cold outside, nice to stay inside.

I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and I will see you on our float for the parade. Stay warm, Kathy.
