Good morning everyone!! ... another warm day .. high of 90! ... I feel bad for the kids going back to school, as a lot of our schools here don't have air conditioning ....

No big plans here today .... maybe a day full of UB's??

Good morning ~  The ribs were excellent as always!  No one could wait, so we ate at 3:30.  Apparently, the aroma wafted for miles!  They were enjoyed by all even if it was over 100 and humid. Even the horses came up on the patio!  Carrot time.   I agree, too much violence directed against our police forces, let alone anybody.  What is wrong with people?  It's a girl think, bigkat.  I always wanted everything laid out (so I could admire it, I guess).  Kids didn't much care.  UB's for me today for sure.  Not a fan of 100+ and humidity.

Good Morning Friends!

It is a rainy day here but we need it.  Temperatures are suppose to cool down soon too.   Tootie, we may have to start calling you "Sneezy", hope your allergies calm down.

Those ribs sound soooo good, cookie.  I rarely fix them but it is a real treat when I do....preferably someone else does the fixin'!

DH and I went to see A Walk in the Woods yesterday....very good movie....very entertaining.....lots of laughs ....beautiful scenery.  Two men walking the Appalachian Trail....Robert Redford and Nick Nolte....perfect in their roles.

Time for breakfast.......have a nice day!

Good morning! It is a very wet one here, makes it all the more humid! 

Kids got up and out with no issues this morning. It sure was busy by all the schools, lots of traffic. It does feel good to get them back in a routine.

Tootie, first thing I did was have more coffee and call my DM in the quietness.

Glad the ribs were good Cookie, they sure smelled great!

Good to know that is a good movie Walker!

H- Hot Lunch...my kids dont care much for them, and they are getting costly!

Pouring rain here......coming your way, bigkat!  Good luck to your boys this school year....hope it is enjoyable.  Lucky they have a mom to fix those lunches so they can avoid the cafeteria food!  And, as much as you love them, isn't the quiet nice? Just having an uninterrupted phone conversation is what I appreciate.  Good to get back to those routines.  I wonder how moms do it with home schooling....when do they get any alone time? I  am a patient person but that would be too much togetherness for me..ha!

Hi walker!! ...you are right, after the kids went back to school, the quiet was nice!! ...we sure do love our kids, but .... no more playing referee and you could talk in peace .... I never thought about the home school situation ... when would you get your own time?? ....

We are at a sunny and humid 85 now ... we are expecting your rains to hit us heavy tomorrow .... that's really OK, because we need it!!

Good morning ~  I remember the days when the kids went to school.  What a nice and quiet time.  Even better, after I got over the empty nest syndrome, is when they have all gone out on their own.  Mine didn't last long, I took in a foster child (had known her since she was 2 and consider her my G'daughter).  Teenage years all over again.  I thank Tootie every day for inventing UB's!  We may be getting a cold front - under 100 today.  

Hope your allergies improve Tootie.  walker, enjoy the rain.  Time for more coffee ~
