Good morning cookie and all .... how nice (and rewarding for you both) that you could take in a foster child ... DH discovered a bunch of goldenrod (my allergy culprit!) growing next to our neighbors (in the back) garage ... since they don't have to look at the weeded mess, they just let it overgrow .... DH went out and took care of them  (the weeds, not the neighbors!! lol) so I should see some improvement with my allergies ....

We are expecting much needed rain this afternoon ... it is quite breezy now and we will go up to 80 ... temps to slowly drop this week .... Enjoy your cold front cookie!

Good Morning Friends!

Rain has moved on....east to Tootie....we needed it too so it was a good thing.  But, glad it was just one day.  Temperatures are cooling off so I might turn off the A/C.

Good to hear your DH found that goldenrod, Tootie.  Love comment on how your DH "took care of them"...lol.  Hope you get relief now.

Cookie, so nice to hear you took in a foster child.  It takes a special person to do that.  Do you still see the girl?   She must be so grateful.

Time to "shake a leg" as they say and get productive here.....or not....ha!

Good morning!! I could not get back on here yesterday...no problem with any other site. Just back from check up and got a flu shot.

We did get that pouring rain yesterday, bad when the kids got out of school too. 

I could never home school...I would lose my sanity!!

The boys had a good first day. My youngest has a wonderful teacher this year...it should be a better year!

Cookie, I agree with the others, you are awesome for fostering!!!

Good morning ~  We actually got rain yesterday evening.  It was hard and heavey for about 20 minutes - but it was rain!  It was also muggy.  Glad yur DH took care of things Tootie.  Allergies are not fun.  I have always considered my foster child my granddaughter.  I have loved her since the minute I met her when she was a bubbly little copper headed toddler.  She lives in CA with her husband and  2 little boys making me a great G'ma.  I spotted Blanche yesterday and it looks as if Stan has lived up to his namesake and is good for nothing.  We'll see.  Another hot humid day here.

Good morning cookie and all .... we got rain yesterday too... about the same as you cookie, it didn't last very long and it turned into a hot and steamy day .... this morning we are at a cool 61 degrees and we will go up to 75!! yay!! cooler weather!! ... thank you ladies!! my allergies have improved greatly ....

Cloudy day here with some rain moving in later.  We are getting to the season of what to wear.....cool mornings, warm afternoons....layers, I guess.   Not complaining because I prefer cool.   Your days will get cooler soon, cookie and kittyfan, and ours will get colder.   Ready for Fall...bring it on.

Bigkat, great news that your boys are off to a good start at school.  Happy to hear your one son got a better teacher this year too.  Hard to send kids off to school feeling anxious for them.

Hello ... it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day of 75!! ... I was able to go out and pull some weeds and get rid of some of my marigolds that were spent for the season ... AND I DIDN'T MELT ....

Good morning ~  Enjoy your trip with your DH, walker.  You will be missed as well as MIA.  Who/what will attempt to destroy Tootie's neighborhood, if not QA?  Never fear, I will make an attempt and drive the Catmobile.  A poor second, but someone's got to keep up our stellar reputation!  Another hot and muggy day here.  DS tells me it was 93 last night in San Diego.  They have no AC because it never usually gets hot.  Mother nature fooled them! CA is melting.  What's with this strange weather?  Keep the cool temps Tootie.  I am looking forward to BAT tomorrow, not only for the company, but the cooler temps.  FHG, kittyfan, bigkat hope to see you for BAT.

Good morning cookie and all ..... safe travels walker and have fun!! .... cookie, the weather will be a cool 55 tomorrow morning with a chance of showers ... I have no doubt that you will be able to live up to our reputation ... walker, we will miss you!! .... but we will carry on without you (unless you can slip away!) ... the police may think they can relax without seeing you around!  LOL ...
