Has anyone made a tarte soleil?  I found this on smittenkitchen.com.

It completely captured my eye due to its extraordinary beauty.

It's filled with tapenade (although she says any filling, even sweet like chocolate, could be used).

and you eat it like a pull apart? that is whatthe creamy looking dip is for? It is a striking presentation-

I was intrigued enough to go to the website.   Then I found this version, filled with pumpkin.  

 

I'm definitely going to give one a try.  

Strive for respect instead of attention. It lasts longer.

This looks so yummy. Smitten Kitchen is a great website with lots of very good, doable recipes. The Smitten Kitchen cookbook has lots more recipes.
