Just tried this tonight.

Taco Twist Bake

2 1/2 cups cooked Taco Seasoned Meat
8 oz tomato sauce
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
8 oz spiral pasta, cooked and drained
1 c sour cream
1 c shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325
- Make a batch of Taco Seasoned Meat (whatever you prefer for your tacos) 1 to 1 1/2 lbs is good enough. I used about 1 1/4 lb. ground beef and one onion, cooked and drained, added one packet of taco seasoning with water (1 cup according to my taco seasoning packet).
- In large saucepan combine the taco meat, tomato sauce and green pepper. Bring to a boil.
-Combine pasta with source cream.
-Grease an 8 in square baking dish
-Place pasta/sour cream mixture on the bottom of the dish
-Sprinkle with 1/2c cheddar cheese
-Top with meat mixture

Bake 325 for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; bake about 5 mins. longer until cheese is melted.

Yields about 4-6 servings.

*Side note, I think next time I make it, I will add the green pepper when I am originally browning the meat with the onions. so the green pepper will be a bit softer.
