I don't think anyone has mentioned purecane. That's what I've found tastes the best. They have a version for baking and for sweetening drinks or anything you want. I use it in my tea and I can't tell it's not sugar.

@Renata22 Isn't that basically like stevia except process from sugar cane plants?  That is what I get from what I've read.

@Sooner  sort of, for the fermented sugar cane part if it, but the main ingredient is Erythritol

@Mom2Dogs  Could it be RxSugar?  If it is, you'll see that's the brand name as well.  The actual product is Allulose.  Shop around for pricing.

@Mom2Dogs

@JeanLouiseFinch

I just purchased RX from Q and am VERY pleased.  I believe it is a 'newer' product.

On the label:  Not a one/one ratio...rather 1.25 RX to one.

I still used 1/1 and was very happy w/ the results.

Made Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream yesty.  Used it in the strawberries and in the ice cream base.

To me, you would NOT know!!

Have tried a LOT of the 'name' brand subs and that taste is NOT pleasant to me.  It stands out.

It is sold elsewhere.....

I agree, @RespectLife . Allulose is an excellent alternative sweetener that has zero impact on insulin, which is a goal in the keto way of eating.  I get mine from Amazon.

@Sooner  Reading the label, it's Erythritol, sugarcane Reb M. I know there are some new worries about erythritol, but I'm waiting for more evidence before I give my favorite sweetener up.

You aren't paying $21.63 are you?

That is what I see on Amz.  I couldn't find it any cheaper.

I just bought 1 lb canister of the crystal at Rite Aid for $8.99!

Wally has it the same price and Walgreens even is WAY less than Amz.

Many grocery stores sell it too.

Oh, I was searching by RX, not Allulose.

I guess I didn't do too bad at $8.99/lb though?
