I've never been disappointed with Wilton's product. I use it for all my Bundt cakes, with the exception of chocolate cakes. For that I use melted butter + cocoa, applied with a pastry brush.
Thanks Irish...that is such a great tip using the melted butter & cocoa! I just love Recipe Swap! I am learning all the time!

Lulu, I think the flavor in the strawberries matters for this recipe. I grow my own strawberries in hanging baskets but don't have any in yet. The supermarket strawberries just can't compete. If I'd had my own berries, I probably would have just used those in the batter, as in the original recipe. I'll try this again when mine come in.
Adding: You're very welcome, RespectLife! I think we ALL learn here, and it makes coming here fun and friendly!

Irish Rosebud - What's that pan called? I've never seen that one!

Hi, Funky! I'm going to try to post a link. If it doesn't come through, it's the "Nordic Ware Stained Glass Bundt Cake Pan," and it's on sale at Williams-Sonoma for $21.99.
"The majestic stained glass windows of French cathedrals provided the architectural inspiration for this elegant cake pan." I thought it was appropriate for Easter time.

I've purchased some interesting Nordic Ware cake pans on eBay.

I will have to try the melted butter + cocoa tip next time I make a cake (even if it is not chocolate, might add a nice hint of chocolate). I like to sprinkle some sugar (regular or flavored either cinnamon or spiced blend Sugar or I have some with a hint of vanilla) gives it an interesting crunch. I have always been curious about the cute cake pans (flowers and what not), but with all those nooks and cranies, I figured they were a pain to clean. How is the clean up of all those nooks and cranies?

Tkins, I haven't had a problem cleaning it. I just squirt dishwashing liquid into it, fill it with hot water, and let it sit for a little while then just wipe it out with a dishcloth and air dry. I have a few decorative Nordic Ware Bundt and loaf pans, all with the same nonstick finish, and clean them all the same way. They're really low maintenance but don't look it!

Thanks Irish! I'll have to add it to my collection, you troublemaker, you!
Have you seen these - they're next on my list:

Why, yes. Yes I have, Funky!
I have the "Heritage" Bundt pan (the one on top). I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. It makes the most beautiful cake you've ever seen. If you get it, try a chocolate Bundt cake with a chocolate ganache frosting.... (heaven)
The bottom one, the "Jubilee," is on my Amazon wish list.
I guess you can tell I have a weakness for Bundt cakes and decorative Bundt pans. (Yeah, I'm a troublemaker, and an enabler.)
