This cake is the absolute best!  I've made it quite a few times since Lola first posted it.  I've even made cupcakes with it, dug out a little hole in each, filled with lemon curd and frosted with strawberry frosting (with a slice of strawberry on top) to rave reviews at the neighborhood progressive dinner party last fall.

Don't know how I missed this cake recipe when it was posted but it sounds great!!  I have the top bundt cake pan that was posted and have obly used it to make a lemon cake in it before!  Thanks for everyone's remarks and what they did to "enhance" the recipe!  I will be making this one very soon!!

I found this recipe again, thank heavens, as I'm about to make it for a baby shower. I had it saved but have since gotten a new computer and I'll be darned if I can find it with Windows 10!

Has anyone tried this in a 13 x 9 pan?  I've used a bundt pan, cupcakes, floral mini bundt pans and all have come out wonderful, so I'm hoping that the long flat pan also comes out ok. 

I'll let you all know.  This is the most delicious cake that is not chocolate I've ever tasted.  I'm making it again for easter in my new Nordicware bunny pan from WS.
