[Chi-town girl]

Now I'm down a rabbit hole -- so many interesting strawberry recipes 🍓 thinking I need to pick up a flat of strawberries and get busy testing new recipes 😋 

Slather it on a slice of warm toast, and you'll be in heaven.

Ingredients

1/2 c. sliced strawberries

1 stick softened salted butter 

Directions

1. Combine strawberries and butter in a food processor. Pulse on and off until the butter is combined. Spread on toasted pound cake or bread.

Yield 1 cup

Sounds yummy. What is the advantage of slicing the strawberries befor processing them i wonder?

@CrazyKittyLvr2 - LOL 😂 yes! Love your ideas - pancakes or waffles with strawberry butter and whipped topping 😋 And a big stack of crispy bacon

And how about other fruit butters like blueberry or mango?

@Chi-town girl   Yes, to either blueberry or mango, both sound good. Raspberry, blackberry too. 

And a definite yes to crisp bacon.  In my world bacon is a food group along with caffine.
