Pico de Gallo
Rough chop:
Red onion
Jalapeño
Tomatoes
Cilantro
Mix with minced garlic, pinch of course salt. Add a squeeze of lime right before serving
Restaurant Style
2 (14 Oz) cans crushed tomatoes
3 cloves garlic
Cilantro to taste
Half small onion
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
Pinch black pepper
1 jalapeño, to taste
Blend everything, except jalapeño, until a thick liquid. Add jalapeño a little at a time, tasting. This will be exactly like the liquid like salsa at restaurants.
