If I roasted onions in a 450° oven for 25-30 minutes, they would be crispy critters, the fire alarm would be going off & the oven fan would blow out. ![]()

Roasting times depend on the sizes the vegetables are cut.

I roast all those vegs on my Ninja outdoor grill/smoker now--really outstanding results---usually do a couple batches as you need to not crowd them or they will steam and not roast. I use the grill pan and not the flat one so I get nice char marks.I roast them at 400* but seems to only take 15 minutes or so ----aparagus is amazing roasted and have done green onions as well--I roasted butternut squash for Xmas dinner--so good!! Also I have roasted romaine lettuce for a caesar salad too. Just takes a few minutes on each side---

I tried to cook roasted vegetables the other day, and they were awful. I tossed in oil and then baked for 35 minutes....maybe I used too much oil but I could not eat them.

@Hoovermom - 35 mins sounds long to me. Did you season them?
