I saw this suggestion from Meredith but haven't tried to ripen bananas this way yet but I just tried her Banana Bread recipe and it was delicious. The sugar coating the pan makes it extra good.

@Nightowlz Speaking of Meredith -- why doesn't QVC give her a new show old bring back the Blue Jean Chef show?   No happy dancing, not sparkling nails, no silliness.  Just a real chef who is a professional and who knows her business.  JMO.
