Re: Refreshing Satisfying Sandwich

I love cucumber sandwich with the soft cream cheese spread and sprinkle dill on top on a good piece of toast or any crusty bread and when the garden tomatoes are ripe I will add a nice slice to the sandwich....yummy!

I've been craving roasted red pepper hummus.  Love it with celery, cucumbers or pretzels.  We didn't grill today due to early rain, now it seems pretty nice out.

Usually I don't eat beef...actually, a man who worked behind the counter told me about this one.

Finally I broke down and decided to give it a try!

I can't stop eating garlic tri-tip with horseradish sauce from my nearby groc store!
Its in the prepared foods section!

YUM!

@LTT1

They have smoked tri-tip on Thurs. at the meat market we go to. We make homemade rolls to put the tri-tip on. We make Au Jus to dip it in. So good.

A lot of people don't like it because they don't slice it thin.

@candyagain i adore meatballs. Im trying to keep in stock right now to curb pizza cravings...helps with my dieting goals i find. I bet quinoa and beef meatballs would be great for me!!!

They're not bad. I'd really prefer beef and breadcrumbs but the taste in a sandwich or with pasta is not bad. And like you said the quinoa is diet friendly.

That sounds wonderful.  I love Sabra's Roasted Garlic Hummus!!

Re: Refreshing Satisfying Sandwich

Not really along this snack line, but yesterday after meeting a friend for lunch, and a few errands afterward, I was pooped when I got home.

Dinner was a leftover salad from lunch and a half tuna sandwich on multigrain bread with a slather of mustard.  Watermelon for dessert.  Ok, what's for my breakfast? ha ha
