LOL, well I've never seen them here.   I love pears, and the best part is that my husband doesn't so if I buy them they are all mine!!!!   Yes I'm very greedy.

Thanks for mentioning that, I'm glad to know I'm not alone Woman LOL

We usually only got good pears in the fall, but I'm seeing several varieties out now.

This is the first year our smaller Wegman's ever had them.  They ARE delicious!  I'm so glad I tried them.
I hope Wegman's continues to carry them.  Really great chopped into a fresh salad too!

Hi @RespectLife

Thanks for the idea, I love fruit in salad.  I like to do chopped apple with blue cheese crumbles and greens.

@Noel7

Me too!  Or feta!!  Sometimes crumbled goat cheese...some dried cherries or cranberries...and apples and pears!

With a homemade citrus dressing!  I found Meyer Lemon and Blood Orange olive oils at a specialty shop.  What a fantastic dressing they make.  No more bottled dressing with ingredients I can't pronounce (and definitely can't spell!) LOL

Oh Boy!  I am hungry now!

Me, too!  Woman LOL  Love salad with crumbled feta or goat cheese, and yes to the dried cherries or cranberries.  Trader Joes has dried cranberries with a hint of orange to them.  What I love about them is that they are softer than most dried fruit, maybe it's the little bit of orange in them.

We've been on a kick lately of trying new salad dressings, in fact I just ordered a cookbook on Zulily of salad dressings.  A drastically reduced price, even better than A.

@Noel7

Thanks for the tip on TJ dried cranberries with the hint of orange.

I would love them! I don't get there too often but will definitely seek those out.

Cant wait to hear if you find some good dressings in that book!
