Thanks @ChiliPepper
I had already added that (sausage) to my notes!
I also gleaned off the recipe that wanted to charge you that adding Basil, Lemon and nutmeg to the sauce was necessary to really get the OG flavor.
He also suggested: Cook the beef in the sauce covered for 2, uncovered for 1.
Somewhere I read to top it with a little Alfredo sauce...did OG do that?

I'm on my second front-loading washer and would still have my first one if I hadn't moved to a new home and had to buy another. First one was a Whirpool, new one an LG.
Don't worry about the mold problem too much., but you have to make sure that when a load is done, you keep a microfiber cloth handy to wipe off moisture from the window and wipe out the gasket around the opening--and then keep the door open. (I know......who wants to keep a door open on a washing machine, but it's important with a front-loader.)
I've never had a problem with my front-loader, but do make liberal use of the "extra water" and "second rinse" functions with most loads. The washers don't tend to use much water, and I like to make sure the load gets really clean.
On the other hand..............
Today's top-loaders receive a lot of complaints from owners. They can be rough on fabrics and clothes tend to get twisted in the rotation.
In my recently built community, a new neighbor started off with a newly-bought top-loader. Husband told me soon after that this was the worst purchase decision they had ever made. A big truck from the appliance dealer arrived soon afterward to haul away the new top-loader and install a front-loader.
Just a suggestion-----What works for you might just depend on the brand you choose or the water-quality where you live.
I'm happy with the LG washer and dryer on pedestals that we bought over two years ago.

Yes, there was Alfredo on the top - not a lot.
Honestly, I didn't taste lemon at all though. If it was in there it was very mild or my taste buds didn't pick it up.
The meat was sooooooooooo tender!
It will be interesting to see if you like it if you end up going. Different chefs but still...
I would definitely order it again.

You nailed it....different Chefs
We went last night.
Started w/ lukewarm soup.
My dish had very little meat, no sausage, very little sauce was also lukewarm. I left the waitress know. She offered to warm it but I declined since I was full anyways. No sense nuking it any more than needed.
I had a very small dollup of alfredo. I didn't taste any of the other guys suggested flavors either.
She went to her mgr. about the lack of meat and taked w/ the Chef. He said there was def. sausage in there. Not gonna argue.
However, the flavors were so good and I totally liked it. Just would have appreciated sausage and meat! LOL There were no pieces, just hard to distinguish shreds. You and I can make this better!!!
DH mashed pots were ice cold too.

Quick Aldi update: if you happen to wander over there this week those chicken tenders are a great deal. They are nicely sized (more on the chunky side) and priced if that makes sense.
I also snagged a nice woven area rug in shades of black/grey/white to cover the rug for the opening to my bedroom as that section is just not coming back anymore. Doesn't look too bad either . . . ![]()
eta: Is it rude to say on Thankful Thursday that I am most thankful that at Aldi I scored the last set of size XL granny panties? . . . I know, kinda gross right?

What a beautiful thankful Thursday!
Not bright sun, but definitely sun! Thank you Lord!
A few more degrees warmer would be nice too, but I will take what I can give!

Oh wow @RespectLife I am so sorry you had such a disappointing time at OG! I guess it just goes to show you even a chain restaurant with a standardized menu is only as good as it's manager. Phooey.

Happy Thankful Thursday K-Team
Chilly, damp/rainy and cloudy here today-a repeat of yesterday. Doing laundry today and colored my hair. Thought I would be able to let it grow out, but decided that I wasn't ready just yet!
Anything exciting going on for anyone today?
I think getting the last package of granny panties at Aldi's is a good thing! Obviously you and I are not the only ones in that boat! Maybe we are the only ones who admit we wear them! ![]()

Hiya @mustang66lady yes I was thrilled it was the absolute last package so we are not alone my friend . . . ![]()
While I was there, I snagged a bottle of a multi-surface cleaner (on clearance for $1.19). I just tried it on my stove and it worked rather well. I would like another one of those rugs I bought today so when I run out tomorrow I think I am going to swing by Aldi again and grab another bottle of that cleaner and also try the bathroom one too. It's certainly worth $1.19!
