@ChiliPepper, what am I up to today? . . . you mean besides sweating? . . . holy cats it hasn't been this humid here since I don't know when.  It was bad when my glasses fogged up when I went outside but my back window also fogged up and was actually dripping water and I have never seen that.  Blech.  Hope your day is going better.

@RespectLife the puppies are doing great.  Each is gaining weight and doing very well, thank you for asking.  And further to the english muffin thread, I need to buy A/P flour but as soon as I do I'm going to take a run at IamMrsG's recipe . . . Smiley Happy

Tee hee, I honestly thought not many people were going to respond to that thread . . . what a lovely surprise!

My mom wouldn't eat any other type of english muffin so they were always in the house.  I used to stalk the weekly ads to see if they were on sale anywhere as she ate one every single day without fail.  I was kind of ambivalent about them until I bought a different brand and realized how much I really prefer them.

They are very different than regular english muffins as they are very light and airy.  For me, they seem to cook all the way through better if that makes sense and are never gummy and have a great flavor.

If you go to their website they do have a store locator (which I know are not always very accurate but it may give you an idea if they are in your area and remember they are in the refrigerated case).

Bay's English muffins - shows "select" Target & Walmarts in NY, I don't recognize any of the other stores.

I know Chili, it says the same for me but the "*" seems to indicate one of those Supercenters which is not around here (we just have regular Targets and WM's).

As soon as the humidity drops below sponge dewpoint I am going to hit the two that are closest to me.

I wouldn't have thought to look in the refrigerated section. Good to know!

@ChiliPepper I know, right?  Because I have been buying them for decades I never thought twice about it but now I realize when I talk about them I need to mention they are in the refrigerated case . . . Smiley Happy

I was always more of a toast guy as mornings could be hectic for me but now that I have a bit more time I have to say I really enjoy these particular muffins.  I so hope that recipe that IamMrsG posted works for me!
