Hope all you wonderful K-nettes are enjoying a peaceful and happy holiday weekend.

We had one of our rare and comical familly get-togethers this weekend, with younger son visiting from Raleigh,NC ,and our other son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter  who live here.

We sent the younger guy to the airport this afternoon.  His longtime girlfriend stayed home this time with her very beloved and aged dog which is  too ill to travel  this time-- we missed seeing her, but she doesn't want to  take the vet's advice and let the sweet pup go to dog heaven.  (I understand,  because over the years we had to decide to let two wonderful dogs go peacefully--ugh.)

So far, no one we know has gotten sick and we don't know  people who have or have had the virus---other than my niece and her husband in Virginia who had bad cases many months ago.  Their little three-year-old stayed healthy, bouncing around like little kids do while her parents were sick.  All is well with them now, and they are expecting a second child.

This virus is alarming as it drags on and on, and contagion seems way too easy.

May we all look forward to a better New Year for all !!

Good afternoon K-Team!!!

Nice to finally have a day off with nothing I "have" to do.

Picking up, laundry, litter boxes while listening to House Hunters.

Makes me want to move until I think about how much work that would be hee hee hee!

What are you all up to today?

Waving “hi” my friend!!!

I hope you had a peaceful holiday.

Did you figure out who sent you the pears?

We had some really nice ones at work last year. A vendor sent them I believe. They were large, sweet and juicy! Unfortunately, we didn't get any this year. I was really looking forward to those again.

@ChiliPepper  waving back. Happy Happy Birthday to you!!!! I don't know who sent the pears but they sure are delicious. I am having some tonight with  grilled chicken on salad greens and toasted pecans, brie and a warm salad dressing.

I am glad you finally had some down time to rest and the eggnog and rum were good. I hope you have a nice New Years and hopefully 2021 will be better.

I was by myself for Christmas but able to talk to everyone so it was peaceful. I will be glad when this pandemic is over and we can be together again.
