Whoo hoo!!!!
It seems like such a long time getting here but at the same time it seems like she was just starting kindergarten.
High honors, top 10 of her class. She worked really hard & did a great job.

Hey there my Friend!
Aldi's had a lot of nice produce yesterday as usual. Grapes, watermelon, strawberries, black berries, cantaloupe, cucumbers, zucchini, summer squash, peppers, mushrooms.
I did get a pair of these shorts. The are not necessarily high fashion but they are soooooooooooooooooooooo soft & comfy. Like a baby blanket. Pockets too (a must for me)!!!
I just wanted them for kicking around the house.
They had red, black or medium charcoal grey. I got the grey.
$ 6.99
I get my white denim shorts from Walmart at the end of the season. They go down to about $3.99. I wear them around the house and back and forth to the gym. Easy dressing.

@ChiliPepper wrote:So, DD helped me color my hair tonight. My hair has gotten so much darker as I get older.
And then there is the grey - oy - its been a rough couple of years - the grey is getting bad LOL!
It’s hard to tell (it’s still partly wet), seems to have covered some of it - maybe not all of it. I’ll be able to tell better in the morning.
This was Revlon Color Silk, any recommendations on a better grey-covering brand for next time?
@ChiliPepper When I was coloring my hair, I used to use Loreal Excellence.
I use one shade lighter than my regular color and going forward only color the roots. As it grows out and oxidizes, the ends get lighter, so you have a bit of contrast. You can also pull through to the ends some of it to give you a highlights look.

I am the QUEEN of grey! I have it done at a salon, so I can't suggest a store brand.
However, in order to stall the dying...I recommend Joan Rivers Good Day Hair. it is a powder & brush that helps difuse the greys til the next dye job. It isn't a heavy cover, but it sure does help prolong the time needed.
Hey! I got one baby cuke and some baby green beans growing. How is your garden doing? I'm kinda surprised w/ the limited sun and excessive rain!
+1 for Great Hair Day.

Happy Sunday everyone
We have been enjoying low/no humidity this week, but that all ends in the coming days. Not bad for almost July here.
We had our kids day event last week. I slapped something together when the lead was unavailable (she was just promoted). It was fine because I have been trying to wrestle this from her since she took it on because she makes it too long and too boring and complicated.
We dumbed it way down due to the fact that we have so many very young kids, starting at 7. We had almost all girls, probably 30 girls and 7 boys.
We started at 9 and ended at 12 with the formal activities. At 12 the pizza arrived and then after pizza we made ice cream in plastic bags. They loved it. The kitchen floor at work will never be the same, though.
I scheduled each activity alternating with a sitting at the table activity and a moving around activity.
We have an artificial reality team at work and we set them up in a room and the kids could go in and out all day long.
The new person we just hired to help me did a game called Kahoot which is somethign they use at college to study. It's basically an online quiz game that you can broadcast the answers on the big screen in the room. We intended to play one game and we had her create a second game just in case we needed it and they loved it so much we played both games.
Now I just have to pass the expense report through my new boss. She's either going to flip out or not say a word. LOL
The management team is meeting this coming week, so it should be a relatively quiet week and I am hoping to be able to work from home for most of it.
Having the new person at work is starting to be a big help. It's freed up a few hours of my week so far and hopefully free up more of my week as she gets more trained.
My only issue is that I keep suggesting she create outlook reminders about things and write things down somewhere so she can refer to it. At some point I will stop reminding her of things and make her fail on her own so she figures out how to remember to do things.

Good morning K-Team!!!
Happy, happy Sunny Sunday!!!
Thanks Ladies, it was a great day for sure!
Sunny but starting out cool, gonna warm up later.
Gonna go to work for a bit & stop at Aldi’s on the way home, hopefully they have some good stuff today. I’m waiting for a sale on cherries (my favorite food in the world), too expensive around here so far this season.
What are you all up to today?

Interesting trip to Aldi yesterday.
I had passed up the "opportunity" to pay just under $4.00 for celery at our local Publix grocery, which I thought was rather outrageous.
Went to Aldi and got a gorgeous very fresh bunch of celery for............ahem...........$1.49.
Also couldn't pass up buying two large lined polyester tote bags for $5.99 each.
They're called City Totes and have round metal handles (covered with some cushion for make them more comfortable to carry).
I figure these totes will be good for shopping and for carrying my yoga mat and other stuff to the gym. Didn't see much of a selection of prints, so mine look a little more whimsical and beachy than I'd like, but for the price, so what?
