Can you tell I'm a little bit giddy today because for the first time in MONTHS there is no place I absolutely positively HAVE to go today, no work crew I have to wait around for, and no phone calls I have to make prodding somebody to schedule the work they promised to do?    (Well, at least until Friday......)

Back in my computer career days, I did a lot of business with Best Buy's Computer Department.  They had some pretty knowledgeable people in the era when computers were a hobbyist item instead of a commodity item.  I was in there (quite) a while back (now a totally foreign landscape) and out of curiosity asked one of the young men what "Wi-Fi" was the short term for.  He didn't know it "stood for" anything.  (For the record, it's "Wireless Fidelity.")
