I forgot what it was.

Hi @ChiliPepper I'm not sure if this is what you are thinking about but this is hands down my favorite chicken dish:

Happy Terrific Tuesday Kitchenettes!

We are having cooler temps again today and should get to the mid '70's.   I would love to open windows and air out the house but the allergens are high plus farmers have started harvesting corn and that all combined just doesn't settle well with sinus-need that a.c. to filter the air.

Well, I have a pork shoulder roast in the crockpot and we will be having pulled pork for dinner tonight before going to tai chi class.  I have to go to the pharmacy and think I will run to Target since it is close to my pharmacy.  I may go to Bath and Body Works if they have anything I want on sale but will check their email before I go.  I can't seem to pass by their fall scents in candles and hand soaps.  I already have a stash for the Apocalypse but of course, you can always use more!

 Criminal Minds starts this week and i am excited to see how it all goes with them firing Thomas Gibson who played Hotch.  I don't think they could have picked anyone better to replace the character vacated when Morgan (Shemar Moore) left.  They picked the guy that played Eric Delko (Adam Rodriquez) on CSI Miami.  I have felt they would have been more successful if they had chosen the woman that played Callie to replace Prentiss when she exited instead of going thru Jeanne Trippleton or Jennifer Love Hewitt.

@mustang66lady

Do you know what day by chance???

Dang, I hope I didn't miss it!!!!!!!

@ChiliPepper

You're good-the series starts Wednesday, 8p.m. CST if I remember correctly.  Obviously I didn't recall Jeanne Tripplehorns' name correctly above!   The mind is going, going, almost gone!

I see QVC now has their own version of the Origami shelves.

They're called "Pop-It".

I have never seen them, I think they're new.

Thanks for this @ChiliPepper these storage shelves are really handy little units.  I did find some of the reviews interesting as it seems that if you already have one of the other version these may not be as robust as the Origami version (which I can attest are beasts).

Yay, I didn't have a chance to read the reviews but I remember you & VaBelle mentioning how much you liked the "O" version.

@ChiliPepper

What I like about the "O" version is that right now I am looking at the four tier rack in my kitchen which contains:

  • Four medium size cast iron pots and three small coquettes (top shelf)
  • Multiple pots, pans and yet another cast iron pan (second shelf)
  • Multiple pots, pans and yet another cast iron pot, a sprinkling of crockery and two small slow cookers (third shelf)
  • A six quart slow cooker and a Cuisinart Toaster Oven along with additional crockery  (bottom shelf)

None of the racks has even the slightest appearance of bending under the weight (and that top shelf is taking a pounding).  If given my druthers, I would opt for the Origami version.

Oh @mustang66lady you were the first person I thought of this morning when I woke up and needed to grab a blanket (yay!) but also now that I just got through sneezing my frigging head off . . . oy these winds!  They are so bad they almost closed one of the front bedroom doors from the wind blowing in which has never happened before as it also holds a very heavily weighted down over the door jewelry armoires which is stocked with very old and heavy Judith Ripka and Michael Dawkins pieces (usually the weight is able to hold the door in place).

I hope you have a lovely shopping trip to B&BW, I love their Fireside fragrances.  I can't wait to hear what you purchased, enjoy my friend! . . . Smiley Happy
