Oh, many of you were asking about my beloved fur baby. His name is Charlie, he's a yellow lab, and he's about 5&1/2 years old. He frequently finds himself in self-inflicted humorous predicaments and he's really the love of my life.....tied with my DH, of course!  He's a foodie through and through (he'd fit in here very well), and he thinks he owns and has sleeping rights to every bed in the house. He loves to swim, play fetch, take long walks, sleep, and of course, eat anything we put in front of him (and also some things we don't...he loves to counter surf)!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww, he sounds INCREDIBLE!!!!

I have always been VERY pleased w/ WIC.  I find the quality to be MUCH better than some of the current (cough, cough) JUNK  (H by Halston and C Wonder) QVC is selling.

All have been of good workmanship and quality.  The sizing is pretty accurate.  Not everything works for me...but overall it is a good line, IMHO.

I am returning the recent TSV cargo pants though.  Those pockets are totally placed wrong for my body!

Thanks mtc, Chili, and Respect for the info on WWC.  I definitely will try that line.

mtc, that three piece pant suit looks wonderful.  I wish they still had it.  Has it been a long time since you bought it?  Maybe they will get more in.  I love multi-piece sets.  They used to call them (with the addition of a skirt) "Weekenders."  Anybody old enought to remember that?

@Writer with Flair to be honest I was shocked to see I bought it back in 2014 . . . yikes!   And thank you for the huge smile on my face right now about "weekenders" . . . I was a huge fan of CitiKnits and those were a  common TSV for them . . . tee hee!  Smiley Happy

Oh, I really like that outfit. What color did you get?

Oh thanks @ChiliPepper, I actually bought it in the purple but to be honest I usually switch out the top as I am not a huge fan of that neckline but it's a great outfit and fabric as it doesn't wrinkle, bag out/sag so you are in pretty good shape even after driving to your given destination.

I love the PURPLE, my favorite color. I'm not a huge fan of that neckline either but its better for me than a t-neck. Too much neck now to wear a t-neck anymore LOL!!!

I ordered these shoes last night.

I have a similar pair from last year but they are starting to look worn.  It's time to refresh the fall/winter work shoes.

VaBelle,
Will you be wearing the shoes on one of your dates?  What is the current status of all crushes (work, auto, and golfing)?  Inquiring minds want to know.

I'll wear them to work and on dates.  They are versatile, like me ;o)

Golfer disappeared into the ether.

WC#1 was in my office today (wearing the Woman Repellant Shirt, although I can't tell if it's the same or just similar, it's a beige thing).  I was telling him about a situation that his VP handled (and IMO) poorly and wanted to know what his take on it was and he agreed with me that that's not how he would have handled it.  I just thought maybe I missed a memo where we changed how we deal with things.  He is a sick and twisted soul, though.  He makes me laugh so much.

Speaking of laughing, my original WC#1 from when I first started at this job 16 years ago (and he was single) is being deployed later this year.  I was talking to him today.  They are leaving just before Thanksgiving.

I'm working on ideas for Veterans Day/Week activities at work.  I'm trying to see if our landlord would allow a concert either in our parking lot or in the back of the building on the man made lake that we have.  One of the people in my company is a promoter for musicians and can get really great artists who are just breaking in for dirt cheap.  He has one guy who can do it that week.  His stuff sounds good.  I was trying to find a band made up of veterans or something, but I guess I don't necessarily have to have a tie in.

I just don't want to do a cake again.  We're having a pot luck the week after so I don't want to do a meal.

I'm thinking if I can do the band at lunch and have some junk food and snacks and drinks, that might be fun.

@VaBelle35 I am sorry to hear about golfer guy but I guess it's best to find these things out on the front end of the deal . . . toad.

You made me laugh about current WC #1 and please know God speed to the original WC #1 and his family.  Heart

I so admire all of the work you put into for your various activities especially including our vets.  I know you are active on Pinterest, right?  I am not but on my way to looking up something else I ended up on the Pinterest pages of the woman allegedly contracted to handle Gwen Stephani and Blake Shelton's wedding . . . she has some fabulous ideas (if anyone is a wedding junkie like me it's a must see).  Her food pages are great too, she has the cutest frozen bananas dressed up in tuxes! . . .
