Pfffft.
I may cave at the 9 pm show.
Tee hee . . . judging by the fact you know there is a 9pm show I am thinking "duffle bag" in your future my friend . . . ![]()

I do believe on the morning show I was watching, the duffle came in the same colors as the bag; I might be mistaken but they did show an entire ensemble of pieces that matched the French Blue and thought they said all pieces were available and matched back to the handbags. Possibly your color just sold out by the time you looked. They have that little red heart in the upper right corner of the item; if you click there, you create a favorite and will be notified when it is back in stock. You may not get quite the same deal or you may get a better one. I do love that about HSN-I can just check the homepage from time to time and if I see a little red heart/dot with a number in it, I know something on my favorite list is back in stock or there has been a price change or a special offer on it.

I did that, thanks.
It also reminded me to rent Joy. I had wanted to see it because her father's body shop was in the town I grew up in on Long Island.
I don't get how that movie was nominated for an Oscar. I only understood the QVC/HSN part because I've watched for so many years and understand how the business works. I was completed lost on all the family members and non-family members and the whole thing with the patent.
Very odd story. And, I mean, unless you know who Joy is, I don't think you get the ending because they don't really tell you anything other than she has 100 patents and make a passing reference to the hangers. They don't really show it and give you $$.
I'm glad I only rented it. LOL

Good morning Kitchenettes, happy and peaceful Sunday!
I saw no point in getting out of bed this morning until my kidneys convinced me to do so . . . quiet, peaceful and cooler here which I appreciate.
Hope you all have a good one . . . ![]()

Good morning mtc!!! Good morning Kitchenettes! Happy, happy Super Sunday.
So, worked around the house yesterday, had to go into work for a little while then went to a work friends house last night for his DDs birthday. Had a nice picnic & cupcakes. They had quite a water balloon fight which I steered clear of. I didn't take a change of clothes & I figured a wet T-shirt wasn't appropriate attire, no matter how amazing LOL!
We stopped at WM on the way home for something for my DD & I noticed I have a headlight out. I guess I don't get out much at night or it just happened because I hadn't noticed before.
I guess I am heading to the auto parts store for a bulb & figuring out how to change it.
Dang, sitting around drinking coffee & reading the paper sounded like a lot more fun LOL!!!

Good Morning Kitchenettes!
Around here we have a couple of auto stores (Auto Zone and O'Reillys) that will do minor repairs free of charge when you purchase the parts from them. They would put in head or tail lights, change a battery, etc, even put your car on that monitor thing to see why one of those indicator lights on your dash came on for free. I always assumed these stores were chain stores but they may not be coast to coast. Just thought I would throw that out there for you. I know you have figured out how to do a lot to your car that I don't know how to do but sounds to me like you need to enjoy your weekend some and not have to spend it working on your car! Guess it's better to work on it now than it was lying on your back in the freezing cold to be sure it would start! Bless your heart and your car, Chili!

So, one of the ladies (I use that word loosely LOL) at the picnic yesterday brought mac & cheese in a Temptations bowl (H206910).
Normally, I would have started the "Q" conversation but she was so loud & crude that I had no desire.
Sorry, I know I shouldn't judge but I can't believe people really talk like that.
I don't collect Temptations but nice bowl though even if she wasn't LOL!!!!

Hey @ChiliPepper, good morning my friend! I am so glad you avoided that water balloon fight as it always sounds like a great idea at the time until you have to sit in wet clothes for the rest of the night!
You know, when I went to Pep Boys right before I was starting that FTD job they were so nice to me and even helped check my oil and add a quart and helped with the hood latch on my car so maybe if you look as clueless as I did when purchasing the bulb they may take pity on you.
Funny side story, I immediately sent an email to Pep Boys corporate headquarters saying how thrilled I was with their service. As I already knew things weren't looking good at FTD from the jump, I was so happy to come home and see messages on my answering machine (hoping it was a response to my resume) but it was Pep Boys calling to say thank you for my email. Although I would have been happier with a potential new job, it did make me smile both inside and out as he just kept saying how appreciative he was for my email. It just goes to show how far a simple thank you will go.

Hi mustang, that is such a great idea, thanks my friend!
However, I try to take these opportunities to teach DD a little something about life that might help her along the way. Most things I can't do but the ones I can I try to show her. So, we got out last night in the driveway & I showed her the high beams, low beams, signal lights etc. I know it a sounds silly, but until someone teaches you these things, you just don't know. Too many things I had to figure out for myself (some the hard way) so I show her what I can. Trust me, anything much more that changing a light bulb, Chili can't do LOL!!!!

@ChiliPepper that is a cute bowl (like that it comes with a lid) and I don't blame you a bit for not noting it at that party as I steer clear of those people too.
@mustang66lady good morning my friend, looks like we had the same advice! ![]()
