Just made this- Brisket.
I got the recipe from my cookbook by Mandy Patinkin's mom Doralee. I make it alot.
Brisket fat side up-
Lawry's season salt
1/2 cup brown sugar mixed w/2 Tbs of cider vinegar
1 cup chili sauce
Spread the sugar mixture on top, then pour the chili sauce over that.
Bake uncovered @325 until semi-tender. 1 1/2 to 3 hours.Cover and roast till done. Slice and put back in gravy that has been skimmed and add water to dilute to taste. Easy and delicious.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the recipes. I haven't made much beef the last few years and I'm afraid I've forgotten how to cook it.

Oh so easy pork chops ---- yummy
Butter each chop on both sides with yellow mustard and dredge in flour seasoned to your taste. Brown each in skillet. Put browned chops off to the side on a dish. Put a can of cream of chicken soup in the skillet and 3/4 cup water and stir to bring up the goodies on bottom of pan from pork chops. When this is blended, put your chops back in and simmer until fork tender.
The sauce is delicious over mashed potatoes and the chops delicious.

This sounds good and so easy. Did you use bone-in or boneless chops.
