Busy day..Dinner??? ....took 1/2 lb. Shrimp out of freezer to thaw.   (I buy a 1 lb. package of fresh caught-frozen shrimp and divide it for two of us...two dinners.)  I wanted a new recipe other than Scampi so went online.  This was quick and tasty!  Serve with rice and salad on side.

Whisk together 1/3 cup honey, 1/4 cup soy sauce and 1 teaspoon minced garlic (double sauce for more shrimp).  Pour half of sauce over shrimp in sealed container or plastic bag...shake.  Marinate in refrigerator for 15 minutes to 1 hour.  Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in skillet.  Add shrimp to skillet and cook for 1 minute...flip...add rest of marinade and cook another 2 minutes (or until shrimp is done...cooks quick).   Serve over rice with sauce.

Enjoy!  We did!  A recipe to keep and repeat.

we also use frozen shrimp when wanting a quick dinner, but we either sauté them and then add them to alfredo sauce or marinara sauce on top of fettuccine or spaghetti with a side salad.

so easy.

Just wanted to add that the recipe I saw online used the sauce ingredients for 1 lb. of shrimp.  I like extra sauce so kept sauce ingredients the same but had less shrimp.  That is why I suggested doubling sauce if you have 1 lb. of shrimp.  Easy recipe to tweak on your own.  Tasty sauce!

A favorite quick shrimp dinner of mine is to cook the shrimp in butter and lemon juice, shallots, ginger and capers served over ramen noodles.

Thank you @walker - the sauce sounds amazing! We LOVE shrimp - a bag or two min is a staple in our freezer. I've added your recipe to my files to try soon
