Personalized Cookie Stamp

I tried baking cookies using my new personalized  cookie stamp.  But stamp sticks to dough even after dipping them in flour with each cookie.  I am using a shortbread dough recipe.  I did get 5 cookies out of the batch that are descent but far from perfect.  Any suggestions?

Chill the dough before using the stamp.  Spray the stamp with Pam.

@Zhills @Kachina624 .  Thanks for your help.  My cookie stamp worked much better when using Pam spray but still not perfect.  Wish I could upload photo but don't know how. LOL
