Since Friday I have turned into a baking/cooking fool! I made a batch of chili for today, Broccoli, White Bean & Cheddar Soup, Dark Chocolate Brownies, Meat Loaf & this morning a recipe for Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies! Then I saw this one & it's next on my list. I took the butter out of the freezer. I am going to have to substitute though since I don't have an orange but I do have a honeybell so I'm using that instead. I always share with my neighbor so I will be sending her brownies, cookies & some of this coffee cake. Last year near the holidays I went into a baking frenzy - guess this year it was a little late! Thanks for sharing this one. It's nice to have a smaller size instead of the usual 9 x 13.

Thanks for the recipe, Berta! This sounds delicious. Something different instead of always cinnamon and also the size is good...not too big. Look forward to trying it!

Snowed in this morning so I made this. Didn't have the Orange zest but had uber pulpy OJ so got a lot of orange flavor. Very good!

Thanks for posting it. It's a keeper.

Berta 53, thank you for sharing this with us. I made it on impulse this afternoon, and am glad I did. It is very good, and considering the small amount of orange in it, has an amazingly good orange flavor.

I made two small modifications:

1. With no orange extract on hand, I used ½ teaspoon Grand Marnier Liqueur.

2. I substituted Fage Greek Yogurt for the milk because there is a surplus of yogurt in the refrigerator.

This recipe is a keeper and will be repeated often at our house! Thank you, Berta 53.

Strive for respect instead of attention. It lasts longer.
