O/T Cause of Double Posts ????

About the time I first came to Recipe Swap, there were a lot of "helping newcomer" posts. I remember one of the veterans explaining to another newcomer what was causing her double posts. (It was either a key combination or something about timing of posts.) Does anybody know the answer? I've tried searching for that old post, but all I get is every entry where anyone wrote "Oops, double post."
