Does anyone know if Trader Joe's or Safeway has a ready made Noodle Kugel, preferably raisin?
We found pretty much everything at Costco: brisket, matzo ball soup, pastrami, I can't remember what all, but no Kugel.
I see great recipes but I injured my leg and can't stand or get around for now.
QUESTION:
Do you have to use Passover egg noodles or are lasagna noodles a good substitute?

OK, that settles it, egg noodles only!
No deli, very disappointing. Our Safeway carries a lot of items for Jewish holidays, so I should be able to find the noodles, but it will be awhile before I'm cooking again.
Thank you @NicksmomESQ

Give your local Trader Joe's & Safeway a call & ask the bakery...they might have frozen too.

they don't have to be Passover noodles - since the Passover restrictions don't apply to Rosh Hashanah. regular egg noodles.@noel7

My daughter is going to get it all together that evening. She used to love chopped liver as a kid so she got that, also.
There must be quite a few people here commemorating Rosh Hashanah.
