@Bangor, here is the original post where IamMrsG shared the recipe here on the boards back a few years ago. The only thing I did not do was put the bacon pieces back in the sauce at the end. I thought we would like it better without it. Also, my shallots took longer to cook in the oven then the 30 minutes...maybe my oven temp is a little bit off.
